A shellac manicure is a type of manicure that uses a special nail polish product called Shellac, which is a brand of long-lasting, chip-resistant gel nail polish.

The process of a shellac manicure is similar to a regular manicure, but it involves the use of a UV lamp to cure or harden the Shellac polish. The nails are first cleaned, shaped, and buffed like in a regular manicure, but then a base coat of Shellac is applied and cured under the UV lamp.

After that, two or more coats of Shellac color are applied, with each layer being cured under the UV lamp. Finally, a top coat of Shellac is applied and cured to seal the color and add shine.
