Initial consultation to check for ear wax build up. I can suggest appropriate treatments and provide photos of the ear using an endoscopic camera specifically used for ear care examinations. 

If there is no/or minimal wax build up and you have hearing issues, I can send these photographs to you so that you can provide them to your GP. This will help you receive the correct treatment and appropriate referrals if required.

If you end up having treatment too, the total cost inclusive of this consultation is the full £60.




Initial Ear Wax Check and Consultation

Ear wax removal will be provided including the initial consultation, using the best removal technique for your ear wax type - this can be Microsuction, Irrigation or a mixture of both - depending on what is required at the time. 

The whole ear wax removal procedure usually takes approximately 45 minutes, although times may vary depending on the ear wax, and procedure needed

£60 for one or both ears. (consultation fee included if treatment is required at the time of appointment)

It is suggested that you use Olive Oil ear drops or Earol ear drops/spray for approximately 3 days before your appointment, if you are able. This will reduce the chances of requiring multiple appointments.

If the ear wax is unable to be removed in one sitting, I may need to recommend you use ear spray before our next appointment to enable it to be removed fully. If a follow up  appointment is required, only the consultation fee will be charged for the 2nd appointment. 

Ear Wax Removal

A follow up appointment may be required if we are unable to remove the wax successfully in the initial session. This is rare but can happen. If a second treatment session is required, the consultation fee will be payable for this second session.
