Warm welcome upon arriving and a wonderful massage from Luke. Conversation flowed he was confident in the art of massage and when I said that hurt he stopped and changed pressure.

Where acupuncture has come from the East (placing needles in meridian lines), Dry needling has come from the west with a slightly different methodology. Both use the same style of needles.
The dry needling therapist feels the muscles and connective tissue for tightness and trigger points (knots) and puts the needle in and around tension to help relieve it.  It can be used with massage.
As Dry Needling is only done laying down, you need longer if it is done on two sides of the body, because you cant lay on the needles.

Hot/cold Stone Massage

The therapist uses a vacuum inside the cup which pulls blood into the area.  This creates new blood vessel formation which leads to an increase in nutrient and oxygen in the area.

The stretch that is produced in the soft tissue and fascia leads to a relaxation effect within the muscle, which results in improved range of motion and performance.

The saturation of blood can often leave a circular mark, which is consistent in look to a love bite. This usually disappears after a couple of days.

Cupping can be used at the same time as Sports massage allowing for two body parts to be treated at once.

You must be freshly showered or bathed with NO moisturiser/powder or the tape won’t stick.
