While on holiday, I was experiencing some lower back pain. After a few days of discomfort, I searched online and found Jonathan at Surfcoast Remedial Massage & Myotherapy.

Jonathan took the time to chat with me about my back pain history before starting treatment. He used trigger point release techniques and dry needling, which provided almost immediate relief. He also gave me some stretching exercises and even loaned me a few helpful items to use during my stay in Torquay.

This appointment involves static vacuum cupping therapy.

Cupping is an excellent form of remedial soft tissue healing and releases tension comfortably and with excellent results.

This appointment does not incorporate manual therapy.

This appointment involves thorough information gathering, to enable you to explain any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing, and then a treatment plan is communicated based on that information gathered. Myotherapy is the clinical assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain, using both manual therapy and dry needle (Accupuncture)  techniques. If you prefer not to have dry needling used as part of your treatment, please select the Remedial Massage service option instead. Private Health Funds rebates are available through HICAPS at the clinic.
