Injury Repair/Rehab/Pain Relief (Returning Appointment)

Helps with chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. Slow, purposeful and forceful strokes and used to warm the tissues and work as deep as the muscles will allow.  Unlike Swedish massage, the deep tissue works on more than the superficial layers and progresses to the deeper layers of connective tissues and muscles. 

Deep Tissue Massage

The most popular treatment. Includes any techniques required to reduce pain and improve injury. Massage, joint manipulation, Stretching, instrument assisted, cupping, medical acupuncture, soft tissue release, electrotherapy etc

Injury Repair/Pain Relief/Rehab (First Visit) 

Helping alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in soft tissues during physical activity, overexertion and/or overuse. Available for maintenance, pre and post-event and rehabilitation. A sports massage adds more dynamics to a deep tissue massage, moving the limbs, manipulating joints as well as soft tissues and using advanced techniques to provide relief from muscular tension, the breaking down of scar tissue and adhesions as well as reducing pain.

Soft Tissue Release can be used as a stand alone treatment for a variety of conditions within the muscles, ligaments, tendons, facia and joints.
This treatment is used to assess and treat areas of the body experiencing pain and discomfort. 
It can help mobility, strength and function as well as alleviating pain and inflammation within the tissues and attaching joints. 

Soft Tissue Release

Clinical Massage

Used to treat acute and chronic, soft tissue conditions as well as help with migraine symptoms. Thin needles are inserted in specific areas of the body which work to release endorphins and serotonin and produce a pain-killing response. This is achieved by stimulating the sensory nerves under the skin and within the soft tissues. It also stimulates the immune system, circulation and supplies oxygen and nutrients to the area which promotes wound healing and pain reduction.

This is a non invasive, non contact, pain free treatment. Low wavelengths of red light are used to stimulate energy production within cells. Activating the mitochondria, boosting cell energy and promoting healing and pain reduction 

Red Light Therapy 

Electrodes are applied to the skin to provide an electric current which, in turn, provides stimulation to the pain gait theory-the electric signals block the bodies natural pain sensors. 

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS)

This is an non invasive, pain free treatment. Sound waves are applied through a hand held device to penetrate tissues and work on a cellular level to stimulate the bodies natural healing process. It can help regenerate new tissue, decrease pain  and stimulates circulation.

Shock Wave Therapy 

Electro-Therapy

Also known as dry cupping, is used on all main muscle groups and trigger points, releasing the facia and allowing a reduction in pain, inflammation and increasing blood flow. Silicone and acrylic cups are left in a static position for a short time or moved around to perform deep tissue massage.

Vacuum Cupping 

This is what most people know as a the classic massage. Softer to medium pressure is used to stimulate the nervous system, creating a balancing an calming effect. This is best for reducing emotional and physical stress but does have a minimal effect of the soft tissues of the body as well.
