The Nail Shed Northland is a home base Nail Salon. We provide a unique, friendly and relaxing environment to get manicures in the Far North. I specialise in Natural nails using NFS Premium Rubberbase, Gel only Manicures, Gel Extensions and all my Nail art is hand painted- no stamping here !

A French can be white or any colour(s) of your choice or can be a french Fade. 
-This is the standard tip without any added art e.g flowers or double lined tips

Basic french tip, 3D glitter, basic animal print, hearts, daisies, stars, clouds, smiley faces, abstract, simple swirls, marble, 

6.DETAILED NAIL ART  from $5 PER NAIL
French tip art(e.g double french tip), detailed swirls, negative space, colour blocking, dried flowers, flames, checkered, tortoise shell, rose quartz, hand painted font, pictures(e.g. Animals, cartoon, insects, mushrooms, detailed flora)

BIAB- is a Soft Builder Gel used to enhance your natural nail length and add strength that Gel Polish does not provide alone.

A structured overlay is suited to those with short or medium length nails who wish to protect their nails and have a perfect-looking manicure for up to 3 weeks. It's especially perfect for nail-biters! Any nails worn longer than 4 weeks must book in for a removal with their booking to allow enough time for the service x

Your service includes nail shaping, detailed cuticle work with diamond-coated tools, buffing, followed by a Structured Overlay using builder gel (BIAB) for added strength (no added length, does not include nail art), long-lasting gel polish of your choice, finished with cuticle oil

Gel Extensions are nails already shaped and ready to apply. Long lasting, light weight (natural feeling). 
I will do my usual Cuticle work, shape and buff of your natural nails before application.
Will last up to 3/4+weeks just like Gel Manicure. Great for a special occasion
The price is for one colour polish.
Nail art will be extra.


Gel Extensions

This service is for those that do not require added length to their nails. 
This is an overlay of a suited Hard Gel to the type of nail you have. It is very strong with no flex and lasts 4+ weeks. 

SHORT- no more than 5mm past the free edge
MEDIUM- From 5mm up to no longer than 10mm past the free edge 
LONG- from 10mm up to no longer than 15mm past the free edge 
EXTRA LONG- No longer than 20mm past the free edge 

It is not recommended to wear these nails longer without having a rebalance of their structure to avoid causing damage from impact to the nail bed

Hard Gel overlay

Get the perfect bronzed glow for your next event ! A violet or green based tan to suit your natural skin tone. 
Best applied 1-2 days before your event. 

Must have eyebrows waxed, any exfoliation and waxing/shaving at least 24hrs BEFORE your spray tan. 
DO NOT weardeodorant and moisturisers/makeup to your appointment. 
You can either use the disposable underwear and hats or your own older underwear. Please note these may stain 
Bring a hair tie to tie up long hair away from your face and neck

Includes the cuticle tidied and prepped

The natural nail is then buffed and shaped, topped with a gel base coat

finished with a gel polish of your colour choice

For when you want products I have applied removed without a new application or if you have product on that has lifted on most nails and needs removing of over 50% of the product before reapplying

Removal of other Nail techs work - Must be soft gel or gel extensions only - message to discuss Acrylics as this takes longer 

Soft builder Gel Removal (not my work)- must get new application with us

Repair a broken Nail using either Jimmy gel/Hard Gel with a form or a Gel Extension. $5 per nail fix. 

Nail Repair during service

Nail repairs out of your usual nail appointment time to repair a broken nail. Add on +$5 for each extra nail that needs repairing
