Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a treatment that we use to accelerate tissue repair and promote new hair growth. PRP is completely natural and is derived by extracting your own blood from your arm (just like a blood test), it then goes into a machine that separates the red blood cells from the Platelets. The Platelets are then extracted and injected into the scalp. We typically use this treatment when hair loss results from androgenetic alopecia, a common condition that causes hair follicles to shrink. In males, this is called male pattern baldness.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a relatively new approach to promote hair growth.
A detailed consult with our Registered Nurse is required to assess suitability and we may be able to commence treatment on the same day.

What’s the difference between BIAB, gel, shellac and acrylic nails?
With so many nail polish treatments available, things can get confusing. Shellac nails are essentially a specific type of gel nail polish, developed by CND. IPL Acne treatments involve little downtime. Depending on the severity of the client’s concern, typically 2 treatments are recommended per week, for the first 2 – 4 weeks. Maintenance can be performed weekly to monthly, as required.
Some cases are considered unsuitable for treatment:
Fitzpatrick Skin Type V and VI
Clients who are contraindicated to IPL treatments,
including open lesions
Clients with congestion and blackheads, but no papules or pustules
Every client must undergo a thorough consultation and test patch 24 – 48h prior to the treatment.
