You will be asked to lay down on a treatment couch, you will be fully clothed except for your shoes. It is best to choose comfortable garments to wear on the day of your appointment. Silver Spiral Reiki Treatments are carried out in a relaxing atmosphere with the use of dimmed lights and meditative music.

Reiki treatments can be carried out hands on, or hands off (hovering above the body). You will be asked your preference prior to treatment. Either way, Reiki energies will automatically flow to where the imbalances are in you body regardless of where the hands are placed.

As the energy flows, most people will feel warmth, or heat, or tingling from the practitioners hands. It is usually a very relaxing experience and some people fall asleep! Other sensations may include seeing coloured lights or feeling as if you are floating.

The hand reflexes can be used in situations where foot reflexology is not possible. The feet may be very sensitive ie. plantar fasciitis, be extremely ticklish or you may have had surgery or recent injury to the foot.

We use our hands constantly and demand of lot of them, this can cause tension to build up over time. After a massage/reflexology session the hands can feel revitalised.

Reiki Drum treatments, use the drum to introduce Reiki into the client's body, shifting blockages and rebalancing the energy field. The bringing together of these two systems means that the energy of the drum becomes gentle, protective and works for the highest good of the client just as in a normal Reiki treatment.

The Reiki Drum technique is the fusion of Reiki and shamanic medicine drumming, the drum is used intuitively over the client's body to deliver a deep healing treatment, followed by a hands-on Reiki session to fully integrate the work and ground the client.
