The best stretch massage on offer at Macks Massage is "Thai Yoga Massage", this is a very passive and relaxing treatment. This is different to "Traditional Thai Massage" that incorporates deep pressure techniques.

You are fully clothed for the entire treatment. I combine elements of yoga, gentle stretching, rhythmic compression, acupressure, METs(Muscle Energy Techniques) and massage to create a holistic healing experience. 

Often referred to as the "lazy person's massage," this style is full of assisted stretching tailored to your needs, allowing you to relax while benefiting from the stretches and movements.

We perform the massage on a large, cushioned Thai Yoga mat, while you are seated and laying down which allows for free movement and comfort. You'll be well cushioned with bolsters, pillows, and towels to ensure maximum comfort and support.

Thai Yoga Massage

Starting with easy breaths to calm your mind and body. I incorporate specific soft linens in a warm soothing environment, to create a pampering experience. 

The relaxing music is selected by you from our variety genre play lists to create a serene atmosphere. I use essential oils chosen by you from our expansive collection to enhance relaxation and provide aromatherapy benefits. 

My Swedish massage sessions are designed to help reduce stress, improve circulation, and promote overall relaxation, making them perfect for promoting general relaxation, relieving muscle tension from everyday activities, and enhancing your overall health and well-being. 

You can request to have passive assisted stretches and or Reiki incorporated into the treatment time at no extra cost.

Swedish Relaxation Massage

Remedial massage is a therapeutic technique designed to address specific musculoskeletal issues. 

Unlike Swedish massage, which primarily aims for relaxation, our remedial massage focuses on treating conditions such as chronic pain, muscle tension, sports injuries, poor posture, and headaches. 

By employing techniques like deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, muscle energy techniques, cryo/thermo therapy, assisted stretching and cupping.

We assess with gait observation, postural analysis, orthopaedic testing and active, passive and resisted range of motion.

We work to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility. 

We tailor each session to the individual's unique needs by assessing the specific problem areas and employ a combination of techniques to achieve optimal results. This personalised approach ensures that the treatment is effective and efficient.
