Recovery Massage

An hour appointment allows more than one area of your choice to be targeted. It involves a combination of manual techniques and stretch techniques: effleurage, pettrisage, compression, trigger pointing, soft tissue release, PNF stretching. To reduce you tension and enhance your mobility and performance. Lets get started!

Sports massage 

This treatment is the most popular with new clients, it focuses on one specific area of tension of your choice!
Brilliant for first time buyers or individuals who have never received a sports massage before. 
It involves an initial consultation with the sports massage therapist to identify your areas of tension. During the massage specific manual techniques will be applied such as: effleurage, petrissage, stripping, compression, tripper pointing. Once complete after- care guidance will be provided. 

Sports Massage 

This follow-up appointment can be booked after the initial assessment, it will include:
- Reassessment of mobility, strength, posture etc.
- Discussion and client feedback from previous treatment plan and massage.
- Any further adjustments/ progressions/ regressions from the previous appointment.
- Continued treatment plan, education and guidance.

Or maybe you have had a chronic condition and sports massage has been recommended for your personal management. This treatment is for you!!
Being Level 4 qualified allows me to assess your problem area through special movement tests, mobility tests, postural analysis, and resistant testing. This initial assessment will then allow me to organise and personalise your sports massage to help with your needs. 
Within the manual therapy (sports massage) I will include a variety of techniques that are appropriate for you, this could last anywhere from half an hour to 45 minutes depending on the initial assessment testing and conclusion. After the treatment I provide all of my clients with some after care advice and some stretching/ exercise recommendations, if needed i can suggest referring on to an alternative service to suit you needs.
