The Spa at Shear Paradise is unlike any other experience in our area. A receptionist will greet you, show you to your locker- lock and key provided. You will then receive a plush, heavy weighted robe and sandals. Enter the spa into the relaxation room where a 9-foot whirlpool spa tub awaits.

The relaxation room also boasts a two seated eucalyptus steam room and deck loungers. Guests are invited to relax and enjoy these complimentary amenities for up to one hour after your treatment sessions.

The goal of a deep tissue massage is to support joint restrictions, knots, and adhesions in muscle and fascia. This slow, deep body work is used to break up tightness and stimulate blood flow in muscles. Proper hydration is necessary following this treatment.

A sports massage focuses on enhancing circulation, increasing tissue elasticity and reducing muscle tension in targeted areas used by a specific sport. Sports massage is also used to help relieve tight muscles. Muscle tightness can limit flexibility, increase pain and cause future injuries. Sports massage helps release muscle tightness.

Aromatherapy Massage 

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an established protocol that directly stimulates the Lymphatic System’s vessels with light pressure and short rhythmic movement. This treatment is an effective way to drain edema (excess fluid) of the body or head, including sinuses and ears. Regular MLD treatments can reduce the frequency and severity of migraines, relieve constipation, soften dense tissue of fibrosis like fibrous breast tissue, and release rigid scalp fascia that contributes to headaches and shoulder and neck pain. MLD is a wonderful tool to use pre and post-surgery to reduce bruising, swelling, pain, scar tissue development, and accelerate healing from surgery. This is work that improves aesthetics as well as body function.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

A body scrub is a great treatment as it makes you look and feel good. A body scrub will exfoliate your skin, sloughing off dead skin cells and rubbing away hard and flaky skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. This service includes a 50-minute body treatment and a 30-minute massage. 

Scrub and Buff

The benefits of massage can improve overall prenatal health for many pregnant women. Along with the guidance and advice of a prenatal care provider, massage therapy can be incorporated into routine prenatal care as an emotional and physical health supplement shown to improve pregnancy outcome and maternal health.

Contrast Stone

This 15 minute add on to the massage session offers time to integrate the work that was just received while still connecting to healing energy to your therapist. This time will include head holds, chakra attention, or light touch to feet.

Savasana add on

Dry brushing unclogs pores in the exfoliation process. It also helps detoxify your skin by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. Removing dead skin cells can help make your skin smoother and softer. Brushes are available for purchase or you may bring your own for your therapist to use.
