Manage time and calendar settings
Set your time zone and calendar default start date to align with your business needs and preferences. Learn how to update your calendar settings, including color coding, to create consistency across your workspace.
Getting started
Only account owners and team members with permission can update the time and calendar settings. If you are a team member we recommend:
- Requesting permission to access the account setup from the workspace.
Updating calendar time settings
Make your calendar work for your business by updating the time zone, format, and default week start.
To set up the time:
- Open Workspace settings, select Scheduling then Time and calendar.
- Under Settings, click Edit.
- Use the dropdowns under Time to manage the following settings for your business:
- Time zone:
Choose the time zone that your business operates in. - Time format:
Select your preferred format as either 12 hours or 24 hours. - First day of the week:
Choose the day you want to start your business week. For example, if your salon is closed on Mondays, set Tuesday as the start of your week.
- Time zone:
- Click Save.
Selecting the appropriate time zone and format for your business location is key for maintaining consistency across your scheduling and communication.
Updating calendar color settings
You can distinguish appointment types by assigning colors based on service, team or status.
To update the calendar color source:
- Open Workspace settings, select Scheduling then Time and calendar.
- Under Settings, click Edit.
- Use the dropdowns under Calendar to select an appointment color source to color appointments based on:
- Team member:
The team member providing the service. - Service group:
The type of service within the appointment - Status:
The status of the appointment.
Blue = Booked
Purple = Confirmed
Orange = Arrived
Green = Started
Red = No-show
Gray = Complete
- Team member:
- Click Save.
