Manage business closed periods
Closed periods allow you to block out specific dates when your business is unavailable, like holidays or renovations. This ensures your calendar accurately reflects your availability, preventing clients from booking during closures. Learn how to create, update, and remove closed periods.
Add a business closed period
Creating closed periods is handy for marking special closures, like holidays or renovations, especially if you have enabled online bookings for our business.

- From the main menu, go to Settings and select Scheduling, then click on Closed periods.
- Click on the Add button to create a new business closure.
- Use the dropdown menus to set the Start date and End date for the closure.
- Enter a Description explaining the reason for the closure. For example, public holidays or renovations.
- If the closure applies to multiple locations, tick the checkboxes next to the relevant locations.
- Click Add to save the business closure.
- From the main menu, tap on the Menu icon and select Settings.
- Tap Scheduling, then select Closed periods.
- Tap the Add button (+) and use the dropdown menus to set the Start date and End date for the closure.
- Enter a Description explaining the reason for the closure. For example, public holidays or renovations.
- If the closure applies to multiple locations, tick the checkboxes next to the relevant locations.
- Tap the Add button to save the business closure.
Remember to update your team's scheduled shifts and availability to reflect the changes in business opening hours.
Update business closed periods
You can update closed periods for your business at any time.

- From the main menu, go to Settings and select Scheduling, then click on Closed periods.
- Locate the closed period you want to update, click Actions (three dots), and select Edit.
- Update the closed period details as needed.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- From the main menu, tap on the Menu icon and select Settings.
- Tap Scheduling, then select Closed periods.
- Locate the closed period you want to update, tap on Actions (three dots), and select Edit.
- Update the closed period details as needed.
- Tap Save to apply the changes.
Delete business closed periods

- From the main menu, go to Settings and select Scheduling, then click on Closed periods.
- Locate the closed period you want to delete, click Actions (three dots), and select Delete.
- Click Delete again to confirm the removal.
- From the main menu, tap on the Menu icon and select Settings.
- Tap Scheduling, then select Closed periods.
- Under Scheduling, go to Closed Periods.
- Locate the closed period you want to update, tap on Actions (three dots), and select Delete.
- To confirm this removal, tap Save.
