Manage your merchant account
Take control of your finances by having a merchant account on Fresha. As a team member, the account will allow you to route payments directly from clients to your wallet. Learn how to manage your merchant account, update billing details, and track your performance.
Getting started
To maximize your experience and manage your own finances through your merchant account, you’ll need to:
- Accept your merchant agreement.
- Set up payments and your merchant account.
Updating your billing settings
It's important to make sure your payment method and billing details are always kept up to date as these will be used to process your monthly invoice
Add or update your payment method

To add and update your payment method:
- Click on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account select Billing settings.
- Next to Payment methods, select Edit.
- Update your card details.
- Click Apply.
To add and update your payment method:
- Tap on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account select Billing settings.
- Next to Payment methods, tap Edit.
- Update your card details.
- Tap Apply.
Add or update billing details

To add or update your billing details:
- Click on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account select Billing settings.
- Next to Billing details, select Edit.
- Update your billing details.
- Click Save.
To add or update your billing details:
- Tap on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account tap Billing settings.
- Next to Billing details, select Edit.
- Update your billing details.
- Tap Save.
Transferring money
Your merchant account wallet is the default for receiving payments, but you can transfer funds between your merchant wallet, personal wallet, bank account, team members, or workspace.
The maximum transfer amount is limited to your available wallet balance, which will be displayed as you enter the transfer amount.
Send money from your merchant wallet
You’re able to transfer money from your merchant wallet directly to your personal wallet, the workspace you belong to, or team members within the workspace.

To send money from your merchant wallet:
- Click on your Avatar icon and select My wallet.
- Under My wallets make sure you are using your merchant wallet. To change this click the dropdown arrow and choose your merchant wallet.
- Select Send Money.
- If you have enabled transfer authorization, enter your personal account password.
- Choose where you want to send money:
- Transfers money to a Fresha business account:
Send money to merchants or locations in your workspace. - Transfer money to your Fresha personal wallet:
Send money from your merchant wallet to your personal wallet. - Transfer to bank account:
Send money from your merchant wallet to your bank account.
- Transfers money to a Fresha business account:
- Enter the Amount you want to transfer or click Max to send the full wallet balance.
- Where needed, Add note as a reference.
- Select Review to view the transaction details.
- Click Send money.
To send money from your merchant wallet:
- Tap your Avatar icon and select My wallet.
- Above the total balance make sure you are using your merchant wallet. To change this tap Actions and select Change wallet.
- Select Send Money.
- If you have enabled transfer authorization, enter your personal account password.
- Choose where you want to send money:
- Transfers money to a Fresha business account:
Send money to merchants or locations in your workspace. - Transfer money to your Fresha personal wallet:
Send money from your merchant wallet to your personal wallet. - Transfer to a bank account:
Send money from your merchant wallet to your bank account.
- Transfers money to a Fresha business account:
- Enter the Amount you want to transfer or click Max to send the full wallet balance.
- Where needed, Add note as a reference.
- Select Review to view the transaction details.
- Click Send money.
Send money from your personal wallet
You’re able to transfer money from your personal wallet directly to your merchant wallet, the workspace you belong to or team members within the workspace.

To send money from your personal wallet:
- Click on your Avatar icon and select My wallet.
- Under My wallets make sure you are using your personal wallet. To change this click the dropdown arrow and choose your personal wallet.
- Click Send Money.
- If you have enabled transfer authorization, enter your personal account password.
- Choose where you want to send money:
- Send money to team members or workspaces:

Send money from your personal wallet to your merchant wallet. - Transfer to a bank account:
Send money from your personal wallet to your bank account.
- Send money to team members or workspaces:
- Enter the Amount you want to transfer or click Max to send the full wallet balance.
- Where needed, Add note as a reference.
- Select Review to view the transaction details.
- Click Send money.

- Tap on your Avatar icon and select My wallet.
- Under My wallets make sure you are using your personal wallet. To change this tap the dropdown arrow and choose your personal wallet.
- Tap Send Money.
- If you have enabled transfer authorization, enter your personal account password.
- Choose where you want to send money:
- Send money to team members or workspaces:
This is the workspace and the team members that your merchant account is connected to. - Transfer money to your Fresha merchant wallet:
Send money from your personal wallet to your merchant wallet. - Transfer to a bank account:
Send money from your personal wallet to your bank account.
- Send money to team members or workspaces:
- Enter the Amount you want to transfer or tap Max to send the full wallet balance.
- Where needed, Add note as a reference.
- Select Review to view the transaction details.
- Tap Send money.
Tracking your performance
As a merchant, you’ll have access to payment reports. This will give you a clear view of how well you’re performing and areas where you can improve.
Track your payments

To view a detailed report of your payment transactions:
- Click on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account select Reports.
- Next to Payments, click View.
- Use the search bar or apply a date range or filters to view a specific sale.
- Get an overview of your:
- Sales:
The Value of payments collected. - Refunds:
The amount refunded to clients. - Upfront payments:
The amount collected as deposits. - Total payments:
The number of payments received.
- Sales:
To view a detailed report of your payment transactions:
- Tap on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account select Reports.
- Next to Payments, tap View.
- Use the filters to view a specific date range.
- Get an overview of your:
- Sales:
The value of payments collected. - Refunds:
The amount refunded to clients. - Upfront payments:
The amount collected as deposits. - Total payments:
The number of payments received.
- Sales:
You can export your data on payments by selecting Export and choosing your preferred format - PDF, CSV, or XLSX - to download your payments report.
Track your fees
You can download your monthly Fresha invoices and fee activity for paid feature charges.

To download invoices and fees:
- Click on your Avatar icon and select Personal account.
- Under Merchant account select Reports.
- Next to Fees, click View.
- Apply the Date filter.
- Select the Download icon next to either of the following:
- Fresha fee activity:
A detailed breakdown of all paid feature charges, updated continuously throughout the month. - Invoice:
A finalized summary of all paid feature charges, generated at the beginning of each month.
