Your follow-up appointment includes a health review to track your progress since starting treatment.

Then once comfortable we will begin with any necessary observations, massage, cupping or gua sha followed by carefully selected acupuncture points.

Needles are retained for 20 minutes. 

The treatment will finish with aftercare and any relevant lifestyle advice. Follow-up appointment will be booked.

Follow up treatments take between 45-60 minutes

Your first treatment will start with an in-depth medical intake which includes your medical history and current health. This is followed by a tongue and pulse diagnosis.

An individual treatment plan is created with the intention to restore balance, reduce pain and improve overall wellbeing. 

Most of the time, especially with musculoskeletal complaints but only when appropriate a short massage/cupping or gua sha is performed prior to needling on the affected area.

Acupuncture needles are placed in the body on certain carefully selected points and will be retained for around 20 minutes.

Aftercare is always administered and occasionally with lifestyle advice. Follow-up appointments will be discussed and booked.

This includes your usual 60 minute follow up acupuncture, plus a 30 minute focused massage of your choice.

This could be: Indian head massage, back neck & shoulder, foot & leg massage or just 30 minutes where you feel you need it most on the day.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage is an extremely gentle, cleansing and relaxing type of massage that primarily promotes the optimal function of the lymphatic vessels, which lead to the circulatory system.

This massage involves gentle, rhythmic motions that stimulate the movement of lymph to reduce swelling. It can be helpful for a variety of conditions, such as:

-  Oedema 
-  Sinus congestion 
-  Digestive disorders
-  Headaches 
-  Skin disorders 
-  Pre- and post-surgery, to remove tissue congestion and minimise scar formation.

A consultation will be carried out before treatment where any questions or concerns will be answered. Aftercare is always administered.

40 min is recommended for a specific area to be focused on.

60 min is recommended for a full body treatment.

A 60 minute individualistic full body massage with deep tissue techniques. This massage focuses on deeper layers of muscle tissue.

Benefits of Deep tissue massage include:
> Pain relief, whether it be an acute sports injury or chronic pain.
> Stress relief- deep tissue massage can help reduce cortisol levels and increase oxytocin the endorphin which helps to reduce pain and anxiety and promotes well-being.
> Improve mobility and aid in sports recovery.

Full body deep tissue massage 

Swedish is one of the most common types of massage therapy.

It involves but is not limited more gentle techniques such as long gliding strokes towards the heart to promote circulation and lymph flow, compressions on muscles to release tension and relax joints.

This is a lovely relaxing massage that is great for muscle soreness and stiffness whilst reducing stress and anxiety.

A short consultation will be carried out before treatment.

Full body Swedish massage

This is a beautiful and nurturing massage that can be enjoyed from the 2nd trimester. 

Supports and bolsters will be used to ensure you are comfortable throughout the treatment.

A consultation will be carried out prior to treatment and aftercare will be administered.

Pregnancy massage 90 min (inc face & scalp)

A beautiful nurturing full body pregnancy massage that can be enjoyed from the 2nd trimester onwards.
