Jewellery change fee is £5 not £20. You will only be charged £20 if you no-show your appointment.

Why do we charge £5 to change jewellery? To cover the cost of gloves & tool sterilisation required for your jewellery change.

Jewellery change

Downsize appointment to shorten to length of your piercing bar once the initial swelling has subsided. £15 PER BAR / PER PIERCING.
 
Ie. Downsizing a pair of lobes is £30.

The bar I will have pierced you with is intentionally slightly too long - this is too allow for any swelling, which is the bodies natural response and is very much expected. Once the swelling has subsided, it’s essential that you book in for your downsizing appointment to continue healing happy and avoid any pesky lumps and bumps. It is better to prevent a bump than to have to heal one.

When should you book a downsize?

Well it all depends on the piercing site and how quickly your swelling subsided but generally I advise 2-3 weeks for lobes, 4-6 weeks for cartilage piercings (including nostril) with the exception of a tragus, which takes somewhat longer at around 2-4 months and nipples I advise 2 months.

Please note: Nostrils are not pierced with rings initially as there is too much mechanical movement for a fresh piercing thus being problematic. You can upgrade to a ring after approx 4 months.
