We appreciate your feedback unfortunately this recollection of events is not entirely accurate.  The products used did have heat  protection.  Each section was sprayed before hand to help manage the excess hair oil present. As the hair was not pre-washed before service . We  did comb out the hair as requested by the client.  We did use a wide tooth comb reason being the hair wasn’t holding any curl well at the time of service as so much so we started the hair preparation again using another tool. Using a wide tooth comb is common practice in hairstyling.
Note : using hair spray on top of unclean hair seals in the hair oils it doesn’t evaporate the oil. This is the reason for the hair curls dropping.
Next time we would highly encourage anyone booking this service of dry curls to have fresh clean hair for this service to be effective.



Attended to have my hair curled I had mentioned several times I need a lot of hair spray as my curls falls out unfortunately the style only lasted about an hour. Hair dresser did not use heat protection and did not smooth out and brush my hair after. Not the best 

I have  been a Customer of Gilt and before that Vada - Leonie's  previous Salon (jointly owner) for  20 years.
Leonie Does a suburb job in cutting and styling  both Men and Women's hair,. I am blessed that while of the more mature generation, I have a very good Head of Hair which  has to be cut regularly. Leonie also has excellent staff working for her. too. As an aside, they also make Great Coffee .while you relax in your chair..
