Sterilization: Disinfect the brow area with an antiseptic solution.
Anaesthesia: Administer local anaesthesia to the marked entry and exit points to minimize discomfort.

Entry Point Creation: Use a needle to create a small entry point at the marked spot above the brow.
Thread Placement: Insert the needle or cannula with the PDO thread through the entry point. Gently guide it under the skin towards the exit point, following the natural contour of the brow. For a lifting effect, the thread should be placed in a way that it can provide upward tension.

Anchor the Thread: Once the thread is in place, gently withdraw the needle or cannula, leaving the thread embedded in the tissue. For cog threads, ensure the barbs anchor properly to provide the lifting effect.

Adjustments: Lightly massage the area to position the threads correctly and ensure they are well anchored. Trim any excess thread protruding from the entry or exit points.


PDO Thread Lift – brow lift

By inserting dissolvable threads made from polydioxanone into the skin, the procedure stimulates collagen production and promotes skin tightening. The threads are inserted using needles under aseptic conditions, often with local anaesthesia, resulting in improved skin texture and tightness. The effects can last up to 18 months for PLLA threads and around 6 months for PDO threads. With minimal downtime and advised post-treatment care to avoid stress on the treated areas, PDO thread lifts offer significant improvements in skin quality and appearance, making it a popular non-surgical option for achieving a more youthful look.
