LED lights can help improve a variety of skin issues.

LED stands for light-emitting diode. It is a natural and completely non-invasive treatment for all ages, skin types and skin tones. 

LED therapy is excellent for treating acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin sensitivity, dull skin, signs of aging and much more. It is an extremely safe procedure that is suitable for regular use on all skin types as it does not contain UV rays.

Short-term side effects are rare. When they do occur, they may include: inflammation, rashes, skin redness, or tenderness.

Individuals should not use LED therapy if they take certain medications, such as isotretinoin (Accutane), for acne or use topical treatments that cause sensitivity to sunlight.

Post Treatment Consultation - Skin Tag Removal

A pen emitting an arc of energy is used to burn oﬀ the skin tag, mole or dark spot. The skin will create a scab which remains on the skin for 1-2 weeks until the skin has healed. There might be slight discoloration of the skin after the scab falls oﬀ. This will take a few weeks to a few months to fully heal to your normal skin tone depending on health, age & skin tone factors.   The larger the connection area of the tag to the rest of the skin, the longer the wound may take to heal and return to normal.

Microneedling is suitable for all types of scars. Both hypertrophic (raised) scars and hypotrophic (sunken) scars respond well to microneedling. However, Keloid scars should never be microneedled. Please consult your doctor if you are not sure if a scar is a keloid scar or not.

Multiple treatments may be required depending on how old and deep the scar is.

Microneedling is especially beneficial when treating scars because it helps to break apart scar tissue. No matter how much collagen is produced if it can’t get through the thick scar tissue it will never make a difference. For this reason, using microneedling for scarring is a great option.
