Mindful Movement Session

This class focuses on relaxing long-held stretches combined with breath work and mindfulness.  Various poses stretch beneath the superficial muscles to target the dense connective tissues of the body, often in the low back and hips, which are difficult to open and can result in both limited flexibility and stagnant energy.  All major muscle groups (back, chest, biceps, triceps, legs) will be worked at various times/sessions.  This class is gentle, yet intense at times, with the primary focus of getting the body and muscles and mind to relax. Sessions end with guided meditation for optimum results of a complete session head to toe.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER AFTER SESSION TO CONTINUE WITH THE DETOX. Some people may experience fatigue and/or headaches after a session.
~ An electrical current passes through a set of plates in a module that is immersed in the water inside the foot bath tub. The foot bath water contains a special sea salt, so it has the mineral concentration of the water from the ocean. While the client’s feet are in the water, positive and negative ions are emitted by the foot bath system. This re-energizes the body and the red blood cells. It eliminates toxins that are stored in fat, kidneys, liver, bowels, and skin. Retreat for Your Feet

The service will begin with a lovely soak in our tub filled with our specially formulated bath salt, followed by filing, shaping, and cuticle care. Next we apply our handcrafted body butter while you enjoy a massage and then place your feet in disposable bags filled with our deeply hydrating paraffin soak and then comfy booties. The paraffin wax relaxes muscles, reduces inflammation, and decreases joint stiffness. Lastly, top it off with your favorite polish, and top coat and cuticle oil for maximum shine!

Lymphatic massage is a gentle form of massage that focuses on relieving swelling in the arms and legs by moving lymphatic fluid out of the effected limbs and returning it back to the heart so that it is able to be filtered through and removed from the body. 

**session times will vary depending on the need so please plan for at least 90 minutes**

Lymphatic Drainage Treatment

We begin this therapeutic session with individual heat packs of organic flax and lavender and apply it to the lower back, neck and abdomen. This helps with the pain associated with cramps. Then your therapist will work with you to create a special blend of Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Roman Chamomile or Rose Geranium with a carrier oil to focus special attention on areas linked with stress — like the neck, shoulders, and deep lower back. This will help to alleviate some of the symptoms of the monthly cycle and allow you to feel more grounded in your body. Your therapist will then target special trigger points known for cramp relief and relaxation. Your session will end with a lovely cup of our soothing blend of organic red raspberry and peppermint tea for some additional relief.
