sometimes we need darkness in order to better notice the light. lowlights are used to create more depth in the hair, as opposed to highlights which add a brighter glow.

if you’ve got previous color on your hair, please say so in the notes! this process is for those seeking fun vivid tones that haven’t yet been pre•lightened for the process. this service is super fun, but takes a lot more time and product. pricing starts at $250, and goes up by $30 with each additional mix of color needed for the amount of hair you have. if you are unsure if this service is for you, please feel free to reach out to KJ prior to booking!

vivids virgin

if you like fun colors in your hair— you know the drill! this double process is a bit longer than your typical color appointment. vivids touch up requires pre lightening your regrowth, and then a second process with custom placement of vivid tones. if you’re new to vivids, please choose the color category “vivids virgin” in the color services category!

Pricing begins at $200, with $30 added for each extra necessary mix of color.

for when you just need a touch up on the front half of your haircut— this is a common service for in•between maintenance of preexisting cuts like shags, mullets and other fringe heavy styles.

This service, like a fringe trim, does not come with a shampoo. I will spray your hair to feel out its natural texture and fall to best determine where unwanted weight and movement lies. Please take care to come with clean hair (cleansed within the last few days)

braid magick! many believe that braiding hair whilst having an intention in your mind is the perfect way to set that intention and wear it with you for the day. As KJ braids your hair, she will help you set your intentions (and some rad waves) for the next few days within each weave. add a braid or two to any style.

sometimes we just need a killer scalp massage. this is an add on to any haircut or color service. book this with KJ for a 15 minute indulgence using her favorite scalp nourishing products. if you have hair, and are wanting a scalp massage only (no cut or color included) and would like it styled after, please book the service bundle option of scalp massage + blowout. to my hair•free clients, I will use a scalp balancing oil for the massage, let it soak in and send you on your smellin’ good way!
