Paraffin wax has both moisturizing and exfoliating benefits. When applied the wax works to hydrate and soften skin while simultaneously eliminating dead skin cells to create a smoother texture.  
Beyond its cosmetic effects, paraffin wax can also be utilized for heat therapy to alleviate discomfort and stiffness in joints. Specifically, applying warm wax to the feet can promote better blood circulation and alleviate joint pain and stiffness.
