An extension takedown refers to the process of safely removing the extensions. This process is crucial for maintaining the health of your natural hair and scalp, as improper removal can lead to damage, breakage, or even hair loss. Takedown only!!!!!

Extension Takedown

Types of Hair Extensions:

Clip-Ins: Temporary extensions that can be clipped in and out daily. They’re easy to apply and remove, making them great for special occasions.
Tape-Ins: Extensions that are taped to your natural hair. They lie flat and are relatively easy to install and remove, usually lasting 6-8 weeks.
Micro-Link/Bead Extensions: Individual extensions attached with small beads or rings. They can last several months with proper care but require regular maintenance.
Fusion Extensions: Individual extensions bonded to natural hair with keratin glue. They provide a seamless look and can last up to 4-6 months but are more time-consuming to apply.
