The initial effects of Botox® will show in the first 2-5 days. Peak effect on the muscle is at 14 days, but the result will continue to improve for 4 weeks or more. The benefits start to wear off after 3-4 months on average.

Anti-ageing injectables can cause some mild discomfort, but the level of pain varies depending on the individual, the area treated, and the type of injectable being used. Injectables such as BOTOX® may pinch slightly or cause a stinging sensation at the time of injection, but it’s typically brief and tolerable.

The treatment consists of a hyaluronic acid gel being injected into your skin or lips to improve shape, proportion, lines, shadows or wrinkles. 

Following your consultation I will advise which brand of filler will be most suitable for your treatment. I work with REVOLAX, JUVEDERM and LUMIFIL fillers however if you have had filler before and have a preference we can discuss this at your free consultation.

Results are visible immediately & last 6-18 months. Initially there will be swelling & bruising so final results are visible once this subsides.

The treatment can cause some mild discomfort however a topical numbing cream can be used to minimise pain.

Carboxytherapy tightens skin tissue, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen production, increases cell regeneration and improves the appearance of the skin.

It works by infusing carbon dioxide (CO2) into the skin to encourage an increased flow of oxygen. Aqualyx is a gel-based solution which dissolves fat in areas such as the chin, stomach, outer and inner thighs, hips, knees, back and upper arms.

How long before I see results?
- Results from the first treatment are visible within 4-6 weeks.

Are there side effects?
- Swelling and discomfort may last for around 3-5 days before subsiding. 

Once the initial swollen phase is over, there may be small lumps and bumps which are bruises under the skin that will take a couple of weeks to resolve. These are not usually visible. 

The face requires only a small amount of solution, so the side effects are minimal.

Is it painful?
- The procedure can be an uncomfortable in the body but much less so in the face. Numbing cream will be applied prior to your injections to minimise discomfort.

Is it safe? 
- Unlike other fat dissolvers e.g. Lemon Bottle, Aqualyx was first developed in 2002 and has been clinically researched and medically evidenced to show the treatment is safe and approved for use.
