Counselling services

Remedial massage aims to assist in rehabilitation of injury or dysfunction, and reduction of pain in muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissues in the body. Injuries or dysfunctions may occur during a tough sporting event or from something much simpler such as doing too much gardening on the weekend! If your body is feeling pain or you are not able to perform your usual daily activities comfortably, remedial massage may be for you.

**30 minute appointment** designed to release back, neck and shoulder tension or alternatively focus on legs and feet. Perfect if you're short on time. This massage does not cover full body. 

Private health rebates MAY apply.

In this 60min appointment will have a quick update to ensure your pregnancy is progressing well, then we will get into providing you will a wonderful massage to help you feel relaxed in mind and body through your pregnancy. Each prenatal massage is tailored to your individual needs. 

If this is your first prenatal massage at Healthy Touch Therapies, please book the 75 min appointment which includes a more in-depth consult prior to the massage commencing. 

If you have a high risk pregnancy, please discuss with Healthy Touch Therapies BEFORE booking your appointment.

Pregnancy Massage

A hot stone massage uses heated basalt stones to ease muscle tension, reduce pain and promote relaxation. The stones are placed on specific body parts, and the therapist combines massage techniques using the stones on your muscles. Benefits include stress reduction, improved sleep, and an immune system boost. It’s a soothing therapy that combines warmth, touch, and relaxation for overall well-being.

Note: Hot stones should never be left sitting directly on the skin. The therapist uses hot stones in her hands during the massage, applying the heat. Stationary stones (eg on back whilst legs are being massaged) will have a towel between them and your skin, ensuring your safety.
