What a lovely experience I had, Vix was welcoming from the moment I met her, to start she went through some questions to see what type of treatment I would like and on agreeing what I would like,  I then got the choice of oils to smell to see what ones I liked the best, what I loved about this experience was everything was explained to start with then no talking which I found so relaxing as you actually got to enjoy being massaged and listening to the calming music, I’ve had massages before but nothing like this would highly recommend Vix thank you for making me at ease 🙂🙂

Deep Tissue Massage is a nurturing massage involving the use of slow, firm techniques to relax, lengthen and release restrictrions in muscle and connective tissue layers.

The massage strokes used often involve the use of the forearms, knuckles and elbows to to work at a 'deeper' tissue level.

It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

How does it work?  
When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually bands of painful, rigid tissue in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. These can block circulation and cause pain, limited movement, and inflammation.

Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. 

NB: I work to YOUR comfort level. The massage itself should NOT cause pain, as this can aggravate an already stressed area.

Tranquility Scalp Massage

A luxurious treatment combining a full Reflexology session with the added benefits of Aromatherapy.  
I will start off the session with a warm Epsom Salt foot soak, then blend two or three essential oils based on your needs for that day, after a full consultation.  
You can then lie back and enjoy a relaxing lower leg & foot massage, followed by a full reflexology treatment.

Using a holistic approach, rather than working on “fixing” a physical symptom, my grief massage instead focuses entirely on relaxation, using a combination of specific essential oils targeted to assist the central nervous system with gentle, predictable strokes on areas of the body that are typically perceived as safe, even during a grief-induced stress response. 

Grief Massage

Reiki is a non-invasive and totally safe healing method. Using spiritual energy, Reiki has the power to treat physical ailments without using any pressure, manipulation or massage. But it’s much more than just an effective physical therapy, and can encourage mental and emotional healing as well as spiritual growth!

Reiki 

Reflexology is a holistic therapy which uses distinct markers on the foot to promote healing throughout the whole body. 
Pressure is applied to pressure points on the feet that correspond to the individual parts of the body. 
It aims to restore balance and harmony by increasing the circulation to the internal organs and glands through the feet. 
By working on the reflexes, homeostasis can be achieved by un-blocking energy that stagnates in the feet. 

Reflexology

Choose from either AromaReflex or a bespoke holistic massage with essential oils to help take care of you as you work through menopause and it’s challenges. 

Menopause/Perimenopause Support

The Holistic Facial is a perfect blend of relaxation and skin maintenance. 

Starting with breathing techniques, reiki and a mini guided meditation followed by a hands on customised facial concentrating on your specific needs. 

Relaxing massage techniques including rose quartz gua Sha is combined with advanced skincare products to leave your skin feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. 

This relaxing treatment leaving the skin calm and radiant is suitable for all skin types.

This must be added on for new clients booking the Holistic Facial Treatment. 

Holistic Facial Consultation 

Hot stones massage uses soothing oils, warm basalt and sometimes cold marble stones to relax your muscles, allowing for a deeper and more intense all-over massage.  
In hot stone therapy, I apply smooth, water-heated basalt stones gently to your body. This direct heat relaxes your muscles, which means that the massage itself is more effective and intense than it would be otherwise. 
The Stones themselves have a healing energy which they pass onto you - the more you need, the quicker they cool! 
The size of the stones varies, according to which part of the body I am treating.
NB: It is very important to ensure you are well hydrated both before and after this treatment. 

Hot Stone Massage

One of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body.
This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart.  
But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Aromatherapy is a holistic therapy that treats the mind, body and spirit. When essential oils are applied through massage, they enter the skin through the hair follicles and are absorbed into the blood stream and circulated around the body. Did you know they can continue to work for up to 48 hours after your treatment has finished? 

I will create your own unique blend of up to 3 oils, based on your needs, mood and expectations. 

Aromatherapy 

Add a 30 min Reiki session onto ANY treatment for that perfect Zen feeling Reiki is a non-invasive and totally safe healing method and can encourage mental and emotional healing as well as spiritual growth!
