Reiki is an ancient form of spiritual healing which promotes balancing of the mind, body and spirit, it is energy work which allows your body mind and spirit to feel balanced enough to bring about self healing. Reiki is a wonderful experience for anyone, it is given whilst you are fully clothed, covered with a blanket. the practitioner will place their hands on or above your body directing channelled energy to those points. The client may feel warmth, tingling or even cold at certain places, which means the energy is coming through and spiritual healing on many levels is taking place. Reiki can make you feel emotional as you become more balanced and release negative patterns and stress. The energy is always loving, always healing, you will leave feeling deeply relaxed. Crystals are also used in this wonderful therapy. As always with any complementary therapy it is NOT a replacement for medical treatment.

Reiki

Reiki Healing

For all types of pain, consultation will determine issues. 

Using advanced a fusion of massage techniques , trigger point, MFR and movement. Organic wax or oil, hot stones.  

Massage is given to shoulders, neck, arms, head, along with pecs and arms to front, with stretching and mobility to limbs. This is deep tissue work and often not a comfortable massage you will be asked to move in order to access and manipulate. 

Priced from £38 for 60mins  - £45 for 90mins

Shoulders, Neck, Arms and Pecs

Particularly useful for those with deep seated or chronic pain.  I use a fusion of Eastern and Western techniques in all massage to ensure the best outcome. incorporates stretching to limbs, deeper tissue work, trigger point to target knots, and areas of congestion, MFR work to ease pain and stretch fibres, side lying techniques to target lower back pain. Head massage and some cranial sacral work takes place too.(extra)

Although this massage will relax you by easing stiff aching muscles and realigning fibres it is not a relaxing massage, there are movements involved and you will be expected to lie on your back, side and front at times and move limbs should it be required. 

Two variations available with different timings 60 mins or 90mins your choice

Advanced Massage

Wonderfully relaxing gentle back massage using a fully organic medium and blended essential oils, tailored as always to your individual needs and utilising hot stones and crystals. 
 
Muscles are manipulated, relaxed and soothed. This therapy helps defeat anxiety and stress, manage pain, soothe joints, can help with headaches, lifts your spirits, promotes health and well being and relaxes your poor muscles.
 
Its a wonderful way to take time out, breathe in the scented oils and float away.

The massage incorporates, full back, neck and shoulders. Crystals and breath work also used, we work to rebalance chakras (the energy centres of the body)

Aroma Back

Wyrd Thistle Facial Bliss  is a deep Holistic facial. We use only certified organic products in our therapies, with washable pads, crystals and healing energy to provide you with the best therapy.

We start with breath work, dousing and balancing of the chakra points. Meditation is optional.  Skin is deeply cleansed, toned, gently scrubbed, & massaged using a  facial oil, acupressure and lymphatic drainage is applied to areas to encourage rejuvenation and a glowing complexion. You are then treated to a face mask to draw out impurities, whilst the mask is left to work, a complementary, arm and hand massage is given using organic wax.. Removal of the mask using warm, natural, damp pads is then followed by a facial serum massage which continues onto the head. Finally  you are moisturised, we finish with a final spritz.  Feeling well, stress free and relaxed, you won't want to leave!

NOTE no make up please and your hair may get mussed due to head massage.

Aromatherapy massage is wonderfully deeply relaxing, therapy, using  blended oils chosen after a full consultation with the client. 

This is a full body, including  feet, face and massage to scalp with cranial sacral massage. I utilise crystals and hot stones and breath work, I will help to realign your chakras the energy centres of the body with Reiki. 

 It is an amazing tension releasing massage , gentle massage which allows the body to absorb the oils , giving you benefits for days to come. You will leave feeling so deeply relaxed.  

The therapy takes between 1hr 45mins - 2hours it can also be done without essential oils, using massage wax . You may not feel like doing anything else for the rest of the day! 

Notes - please do not wear Make up.

Aromatherapy

Here at Wyrd Thistle we use salt, water, stones, crystals and organic products with the intention of bringing to you those same experiences as Earthing - to feel connected and grounded, allowing the Earth energies to merge with you on a spiritual and physical level. balance in the natural surroundings of our shed.

Start with relaxing breath work, a foot bath in scented organic salts, dousing with crystals over the chakra points, using Reiki energy to balance, then move on to a deep, wonderful, foot and lower leg scrub, using slow methodical moves. Each foot is wrapped with warm stones, leading on to a deeply relaxing massage of the feet and lower leg to knees. The therapy finishes with an uplifting foot lotion and a final, refreshing spritz - to leave you grounded, connected, balanced and of course relaxed. 

NOT suitable for those with corns, verrucas or fungal foot infections or blisters.

Thistle Luxury Lower leg & Foot

Reflexology is a very ancient type of therapy and works on the basis that the areas in the feet reflect all parts of the body,  specific areas of congestion the body can be reached through directly applied pressure and moves to the feet.

Reflexology is said to be good for those suffering from, stress, headaches, sinus issues, PMS, Menopause symptoms, IBS, digestive issues, anxiety and trouble sleeping. Whilst it is not a 'cure all' most people agree it goes a long way to helping with these symptoms. 

The session starts with breath work ,  a foot bath in  and continues with an organic foot balm and specific moves to the feet, the session finishes with a spritz to lift your feet.

 As always with any complementary therapy it is not replacement for medical advice or medicinal prescriptions, but can work happily alongside these.. 

NOTE no verrucas, corns, foot fungal issues or blisters please. I am not a chiropodist or a podiatrist so I do not cut  nails or remove hard skin -
