I wish I could post a pix of how long my hair was before the cut. It was barely touching the collar of my blouse. I've never had it longer since going to THS but I noticed I always get charged more than the $40 as stated on the website. Today I asked and was told that my hair was medium length. I don't mind paying for a good haircut and Liljana always gives me a great cut. She listens and offers excellent advice and she is just the sweetest. I do have an issue with the salon claiming my hair is medium length and charging me $70 for a wash and cut.

I had an excellent experience at Dima’s Salon. Dima truly exceeded my expectations. He took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure every detail was perfect. I absolutely loved the scalp and neck massage while being shampooed and I felt they were very thorough! I felt very welcomed and everyone was very kind. My hair stylist was very precise and knew exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to make sure I left looking great! So incredibly thankful to have a hair salon like this in Chinatown. I’m sure I’ll be back soon. :)

Second time getting a curly cut with Harix, and I've never felt more comfortable and well taken care of in a salon experience. I'm newer to having curly hair, and after each appointment I feel better equipped with knowledge of how to care for and style my own hair. Harix listens to your concerns, is ready to answer questions, and will help get you where you want to go.

They did a great job with my hair color. The salon is decorated nicely and the staff was welcoming. It was confusing which side to go in, as one side is presented as a separate barber shop business, but that door was open and I was told to wait there. They told me the service my Groupon was for wouldn't be right for my hair, and I should do a different service, but wouldn't get the discount and would have to pay an additional fee. I went with that option as it made the most sense to me. The staff hardly spoke to me at all during the service and may not speak much English, but they were friendl

A very pleasant salon environment and Caesar is a great hair cutter, shaping the cut to the face and careful and precise in his work. He asks frequently if the cut is moving in the right direction. Always very pleased with his skill and work. A very positive and enjoyable experience.

Maria did an amazing job cutting my hair. She is very knowledgeable about maintaining hair health. She explains her process as she goes along which I appreciate. And the lady that washed my hair gave me the best scalp massage I’ve ever had a hair salon. Already scheduled my next appointment next week for a Brazilian blowout. Can’t wait.

Amazing first time experience here! I was lucky enough to have Inesa who is both talented and engaging with all her customers. She did amazing job picking out the best color that would blend with my natural hair color and it turned out better than expected! I highly recommend this salon if you are looking for great customer service with beautiful “happy” results! :)

The experience at Toka Salon NYC is always wonderful. John is very talented at cutting hair and color. All staff members are friendly and professional. For many years I have been traveling a distance to come here and will continue to do so since the experience is so good!

I had a great experience at Casagrande Salon! I would definitely recommend a haircut with Laíz who takes her time, provides great recommendations, and ensures she gives you the best experience. Laíz eased all my anxieties and I walked out of the salon excited about my cut. Additionally, the salon is hijabi friendly and there is a private room in the back where hair can be cut if you need it! Laíz is understanding and has a great presence which made me feel very comfortable!! This was my first time at Casagrande Salon, but it certainly won’t be my last.

This was my first time at the salon. Mino did a great job with my super curly hair! I didn’t know what to expect, so I brought a picture of the cut I wanted. Although he cut it a little shorter than what I wanted I suspect he did so for the health of my hair. Also, it will grow in and probably reach the length I want soon. I’m always skeptical of if a stylist can figure out how to deal with my African hair texture if they have a different hair texture, but he handled it well. My hair felt healthier, more hydrated when he was done.

Tanya gave me a great haircut- this was my 2nd visit... each time i was pleased with my new look. the salon is small and comfortable and she's friendly and true to appointment time. I'll try her for color and highlights next.

Lovely Salon, my appointment was early so I had the place to myself. Luis cut my hair, he was an artist at work. He was very receptive to what I wanted and he had some great suggestions. My layers turned out perfect. I’m very pleased and hope to be back again in the future.
