The actual tattoo experience was fantastic, Taylor was great. Unfortunately my appointment was at 11.05am and gates didn’t open until 11.30, so despite asking several security guards and guest services, I was told I would have to line up and wait like everyone else. This meant that by the time I got in it was closer to 12 o’clock, and then Taylor had to set up and get ready, so I didn’t actually sit down for my tattoo until close to 12.30, an hour and a half after my appointment. Again, not Dr Pickles’ fault one bit, just frustrating!

I messaged on instagram about last minute walk-in availability and they responded very informatively, went along to look at the flash, picked a design and then within 2 hours I was back being tattooed by Cristina!! She is so lovely and thoughtful and the experience was a pleasure. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. Definitely a holiday highlight :)

I was so nervous about coming in for my first tattoos, but Little Frankie’s was the best place that I could possibly have come. The staff were so welcoming, and Hailey was WONDERFUL about setting me at ease. The entire process was seamless and I felt so genuinely cared for the entire time. I’ll 100% be coming back for more. Anastacia is an artist who truly loves her craft. I was nervous going into the eyebrow tattoo but her communication and personality made me feel completely at ease. I could not be happier with the result.

Dalton was fantastic and my tattoo is perfect! He was flexible and professional and I loved the banter between artists - it was an awesome start to my day. My only feedback is for organisers - it would be beneficial to explain to people that even though they booked an appointment for before the event gates open, they won’t be able to get their tattoo until the event gates open. I didn’t receive any instructions on where to go or what to do or who to talk to - that would be appreciated for next time. Thanks!

This is the second time I’ve been back to Little Frankie’s. As soon as I walked in, all the pre-tattoo nerves went away and I just felt so comfortable and safe. Sib is a remarkable artist and explained everything so well to me when it came to the style of tattoo I was after. Sib was also able to accomodate a spontaneous tattoo! Will absolutely be back again.

Hailey was amazing and the tattoo is so beautiful. I'm so glad I got to get tattooed by her. Hailey was so informative and helpful when explaining the aftercare for my tattoo.

Cassie was amazing, and was so helpful talking me through where we were at with the tattoo.
