I went in for soft gel tips with nail art. This was my first time visiting the place and was a bit skeptical as their Instagram page does not have a display of nails. However the results were great and I am extremely happy with the outcome! The staff is all friendly and welcoming, I enjoyed my time there. I was assisted by Audrey, she has a neat and steady hand, I am extremely happy with the outcome of the nails. I was also happy with the nail shape. P.S. Your work is great - and should be displayed more on your social media platforms

I usually have decent experiences at Boa. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately today my gelish french bubbled and I didn't receive and acknowledgement, apology or offer to redo the 3 bubbled nails.

Rufaro is simply amazing! This was my second time having my nails done by her, and I absolutely love her professionalism and attention to detail. I’m a very picky client with high expectations, and she definitely met those standards. She also gave me excellent recommendations on how to make my nails stronger, especially since I booked the wrong treatment the first time. P.S. You can tell how much clients are valued by the choice of water brand they provide. IFKYK!

Booked the mother/daughter bff deal. Colleen and Melody helped us and were friendly. Our gel nails came out well. It would have been nice to know up front that a nail design wouldn’t be possible. My mom couldn’t even do an ombre (or pay extra for it), because the staff member wasn’t in-house at that point. There were at least 7 technicians there and none of them could do an ombre? Suggestion to change the music - not everyone likes afrobeat and seeming that it is a nail salon for relaxation, some calmer music would do the atmosphere justice.

A surprisingly good experience. I’ve been to other branches and always a bit felt rushed with substandard results, but this was different. Louise was attentive and put a lot of care into cleaning up my cuticles and painting my nails. She took pride in her work and I would return to her.

I wish I could give Nathie 10 stars. She is absolutely brilliant at what she does, but is also incredibly efficient - I have loved every set of nails she’s ever done for me! Shenanigans provides a fantastic service with incredible staff, I have never been disappointed and I don’t suspect I will be. Would highly recommend paying them a visit if you haven’t yet!

Great service. Lovely to chat with Tabeth. Nails were done well. Loved the colour I ended up choosing, would appreciate more bright but deep options for brown skin. Eg more shades of luxury blue eg navy, indigo, midnight, lapis, azure, cobalt. Overall Im happy, this has been my second visit to Riverlands since its opening in November and 4th branch Ive been to, current favourite.

My nails are in the best condition and are so strong. Ambour is really very talented and an amazing nail tech.

This was like coming back home after a year away and catching up with an old friend! Rufaro was amazing as I remembered, i had the Kinetics manicure this time, the whole experience was perfect and if you’re looking for a place to do your nails while on holiday in Cape Town this is the only place to go!
