Received a skin tightening facial through the Winnipeg Women's show. Sooo relaxing! The discounted firming treatment was an interesting experience. Was disappointed to find that treatment was only a half hour. Overall nice introduction to the spa. Unfortunately, the communication regarding time frames made the discount less enticing after the fact

As always Rachel and Anna were both there to provide that welcoming smile and greeting first thing in the morning. Always a pleasure to see them like catching up with old friends. It was my first time doing my lashes. Was nervous but people eased any worrys I had they also met my needs with respect and professionalism. The environment was beautifully set and the people are just as lovely. The prices are very reasonable for the great work done. I have everyone complementing me and I juss love them. Moving from Toronto, I’m used to very efficient wax services. I’ve tried the sugaring in Winnipeg at a few places and find it painful and soo slow! Sheila was very receptive to my worries and got things done so quickly and painlessly (or as painless as you can get with a Brazilian wax). She was comfortable using waxing or sugaring and kept me laughing and distracted the whole time. I would definitely recommend her! Also, the prices can’t be beat!

Adeyo and Jenny were so accommodating and made this one of the best salon experiences I've ever had. They were knowledgable, kind, funny, and Adeyo went out of her way to make me comfortable. Adeyo's technique is great and she works very fast. I will definitely be returning here in the future. The space itself is cute and clean, and Jenny is very communicative when contacting her prior to the appointment. Thank you for an excellent style and experience.

Professional. Friendly. A good listener. The staff here delivered excellent service! When I requested they take a photo of my soft curls (from and back) along with the business salon logo name, they happily complied. I am satisfied with the women's haircut service I received. And, I even received tips and tricks on how I can on natural ingredients (rose petals, castor oil, and cloves) that can promote hair growth! 💇🏻‍♀️ I hope my hair becomes thicker so that next time I can request a full color! 😊

Shayla was an excellent aesthetician. Very skilled and a great conversationalist. On my first visit Rachel was the same very friendly and skilled. I believe all three women will do their very best for all their clients. Will definitely return for another visit. Thank you Blacksmith Parlor, Winnipeg men are lucky to have this locally owned establishment for clients that are hesitantly skeptical about your wonderful services. I had an amazing experience getting my braids done at Jenhairous! The stylist was incredibly skilled and attentive, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The results were beyond my expectations – my braids are neat, beautifully done, and I’ve gotten so many compliments already! I just wanted to say .. My overall experience was absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond. Certainly the best experience I’ve had in Winnipeg. I wanted to give it a try I knew I would see maybe some results but I had no idea the results would be beyond my expectations I couldn’t believe how well their products and equipment truly worked without sounding like I’m trying to sell something out. This was my 1st time at Dark Shugar and definitely will not be my last. This is the most professionally run hair salon I have been at in my 40 years of hair salons. The staff are attentive and focused on their clients and I noticed that not only Alexis, but all of her staff take the time to ask and make sure that all their clients are happy with the hair treatments throughout their appointments. I loved the relaxed, friendly vibe. Thank you, Alexis, Stephanie and all the staff for a great hair experience.

I just had the most incredible deep clean facial with Perla! She is truly amazing at what she does. My face always feels refreshed, rejuvenated, and so much healthier after every session. Perla’s attention to detail and expertise really set her apart from every other salon in the city!

My first time visiting the salon was able to get a consult same day and get services. Super professional and welcoming most importantly a clean space, I felt super comfortable. My braids are absolutely neat and well parted! Not too much strain either, I was able to tolerate the mild pain with being so sensitive usually my scalp is a lot more tender with braids. Jen did absolutely wonderful, she listened to my concerns and suggested the best options . I will go back and also bring my young boys to her for their preferred hair styles.
