This is probably one of the best salons out there. It’s a hidden gem I discovered. Micheal is great stylist and barber. He is friendly, takes his time and gives advice. I highly recommend Poiz Beauty Salon.

Here’s a refined version of your review: As soon as the elevator doors open onto the sixth floor, TOKA Salon feels like a breath of fresh air. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly putting you at ease. I often find myself wishing I’d arrived early enough to enjoy their beautiful balcony—an oasis on warmer days. And with this unexpected November warmth, I really missed a chance to unwind there before my appointment. They did a great job with my hair color. The salon is decorated nicely and the staff was welcoming. It was confusing which side to go in, as one side is presented as a separate barber shop business, but that door was open and I was told to wait there. They told me the service my Groupon was for wouldn't be right for my hair, and I should do a different service, but wouldn't get the discount and would have to pay an additional fee. I went with that option as it made the most sense to me. The staff hardly spoke to me at all during the service and may not speak much English, but they were friendl

I visited a laser hair removal studio for the first time, and I’m beyond impressed! I found them on Instagram after a recommendation and contacted the owner. The communication was smooth, and I received a link to an app to fill out forms, pay the deposit, and get all the necessary info before my visit. The location was easy to find, the salon was clean, warm, and welcoming, and the staff were polite and professional. The specialist was highly skilled, and the service exceeded my expectations. I recently visited Jamal Amal Salon to get my hair braided, and I had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and polite, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. They took their time to ensure my hair was styled perfectly, and the attention to detail was amazing.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which made the entire process so relaxing. I left the salon feeling confident, refreshed, and absolutely loving my braids! Amazing first time experience here! I was lucky enough to have Inesa who is both talented and engaging with all her customers. She did amazing job picking out the best color that would blend with my natural hair color and it turned out better than expected! I highly recommend this salon if you are looking for great customer service with beautiful “happy” results! :)

What a wonderful first time experience at Poiz Beauty Salon! My stylist Ainur was so welcoming and gave me exactly what I asked for. I just showed her a picture and she worked her magic ✨. Every time I come to BEAUTY WORLD it’s such an experience great, great, great service Lydia is so warm and friendly. Feels like I’ve known her for years and I would recommend this salon to everybody Go and enjoy the experience

Everyone in the salon is super friendly. I got partial balayage, haircut and style done by Sarah. She is such a doll, explained every step and was very attentive during the whole process. Will not go anywhere else for color or cuts. I had a great experience.

Im so happy I came here, they know their lashes! This is the place to come to for beauty, professional service, & healthy lashes. The last salon I went to was careless w/ my natural eyelashes & I knew I needed a change. Erica (lash tech) removed the old lashes gently & applied a new set (premium diamond set) that are so comfortable on my eyes & expertly applied. She was very meticulous and ensured none of my lashes were stuck together all the while creating perfect symmetry. She created a beautiful shape for me that fits my face nicely. Her attention to detail, compassion and listening skills plus her friendly demeanor are unparalleled. V Lash os a first rate operation. Confirming the appointment via text and email as well as sending reminders. The location is convenient in Midtown around the corner from Herald Square. The entire place is very clean and comfortable. Very relaxed including soothing music playing in the background. Bhawana was lovely, professional and caring checking to assure my comfort throughout the process ( lash lift & tint). It was my first time having it done and all went very well with perfect results.
