Merrilyn and Macey are so skilled with hair, the salon is perfect and they have 2 amazing apprentices who are already doing an amazing job, Shiloh blow dried my hair perfectly at my appointment today. My colour always turns out just the way I like it. I 100% recommend, they will not disappoint.

Sam is a lovely guy from Sydney who knows his stuff when it comes to hairdressing. We are lucky to have him here. I had foils put in and was really pleased with the colour outcome. Also had the best ever head massage !......this is my new 'go to' salon in Cairns

My first visit to the salon and I will certainly be back! My time with Samuel passed by so quickly with easy conversation, good laughs, he listened to what I needed to suit my lifestyle. He ran on time, with 1:1 service. Samuel showed me photos and swatches of suggestions to get the blonde tone I was after (success!) and such fantastic value for money. Even a glass of wine and packet of chips were on offer - a brilliant experience. Thanks Sam!

Merrilyn is the best hair dresser in Cairns. I have been going to Merrilyn since before 2015. Occasionally I branched out to try other hairdressers yet none can compare. The cuts I have had (short hair) always keeping growing into a suitable style until a return is necessary. Marilyn is definitely a professional which shows in all aspects of her business. Merrilyn salon is of an excellent standard. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughing. A joy to visit. The costs for services are very reasonable and affordable.

As much as I hate getting my hair cut, I love my visits to MLB Hair and interacting with the staff. They make a dreaded experience bearable and I enjoy the friendly interaction with the girls. My wife and I travel over 100 klms to get our hair cut. Even with the price of petrol going up we will continue to travel down from north of Port Douglas. We have even more reason to travel down now because of the Salon’s support of sustainability practices. I can’t wait until they start putting my hair cuttings in a named packet and having it hanging on the sustainability wall.
