My first time at Mophead salon and I had a haircut with Torris and he gave me one of the best haircut! He focused on my hair to give me the best cut as I haven't had a haircut for a long time. He is definitely very skilled! Highly recommended him. And I will definitely come back to see him.

My hair stylist is CHOLE. We communicate about the style and then she greatly washes and massages my head to start the session. The cut was quick but most importantly it’s exactly what I was hoping for. I had never been able to leave a salon within 60mins but today I did also with a big smile as I m satisfy with the cut.

Amazing!! I had Yuki as my hairstylist and she was so kind and understanding :) My haircut is perfect and exactly what I wanted! I had the best experience with Initial, specifically Ayala. She was super nice and sweet. I really loved the hair colour she did on me. I also learned a lot from her even though I have been dying my hair at other salons before. I wish she could stay in Vancouver so she can be my stylist forever haha.

I had an amazing experience at the salon with Sho! Not only did he take me in at the last minute, but every time I come, it’s a wonderful experience. Sho has an incredible eye for detail and is clearly very skilled at what he does. He listened carefully to what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions, showing his dedication to making sure I walked out happy. Eco-san is a talented and exceptional professional with lots of experience. After realizing her excellent sense of style, I've been asking her to recommend what she suggests would suit me most rather than trying to figure out what to do on my own. I've had many appointments with her and my hair is amazing every time. Hair cuts, colouring, treatments and styling, she's skilled in everything. She's also genuinely fun to chat with. She might just be Richmond's best kept secret.

I walked by a few times and wondering if I should try this salon. I finally did and wanted a new style. YJ was good. I have long hair and wanted to cut it short for the first time in a long time. Loved my eyelashes done by Saeko. She’s very patient, gentle, and holds expertise in eyelash extensions. My hair was also cut and styled by Yuki, which was also awesome. I’m glad I’ve got my eyelashes and haircut done in I’s Hair Salon by those two ladies. Would recommend to anybody looking for Japanese eyelash extension/lift and hair salon!

The staff from Mophead is always very helpful and friendly starting from the front desk to my hairstylist Kana. She always takes her time my haircut and does a fantastic job everytime! The salon is also clean and it’s location is very convenient.

Yuki and saeko were gentle and provided great care for my hair/eyelashes. I almost fell asleep with how calm my experience was! The salon itself played the same few songs over and over, I would recommend playing more songs 😁

I am kinda of a picky client when coming to my hair cut. I did some homework to find the high rated salon to do my hair cut. I am so happy with the result. Sho is a very detail oriented hair dresser, he listend to my needs and ensure he understood the style i was looking for, also it fits me well. When it comes to beauty salons, I believe it's important not only to have skilled hairstylists but also to ensure that clients can have a comfortable time during their visit. Fuko always provides all of that. She's not just an excellent hairstylist with fantastic cutting skills, but also a wonderful listener who sometimes offers advice. And I always almost falling asleep during the shampoo and massage before the haircut by the assistant Mizuki because she's too good at it.

I love visiting Initial Salon, its a lovely salon with exceptional stylist. The salon is always so peasceful, clean & a comfortable place to be. Everyone is so nice there. They are wheelchair accessible, and literally across the street frm the Brighouse skytrain station & across frm Richmond Centre mall. Talk about easy to get to, as well as I'm able to get a visit the mall. Thank you Ken for another gorgeous haircut
