Loved my eyelashes done by Saeko. She’s very patient, gentle, and holds expertise in eyelash extensions. My hair was also cut and styled by Yuki, which was also awesome. I’m glad I’ve got my eyelashes and haircut done in I’s Hair Salon by those two ladies. Would recommend to anybody looking for Japanese eyelash extension/lift and hair salon!

My first time at Mophead salon and I had a haircut with Torris and he gave me one of the best haircut! He focused on my hair to give me the best cut as I haven't had a haircut for a long time. He is definitely very skilled! Highly recommended him. And I will definitely come back to see him.

Eco-san is a talented and exceptional professional with lots of experience. After realizing her excellent sense of style, I've been asking her to recommend what she suggests would suit me most rather than trying to figure out what to do on my own. I've had many appointments with her and my hair is amazing every time. Hair cuts, colouring, treatments and styling, she's skilled in everything. She's also genuinely fun to chat with. She might just be Richmond's best kept secret.

I had the best experience with Initial, specifically Ayala. She was super nice and sweet. I really loved the hair colour she did on me. I also learned a lot from her even though I have been dying my hair at other salons before. I wish she could stay in Vancouver so she can be my stylist forever haha.

I’ve been seeing Ken for a year now and he has helped me always achieve my colour and hair goals while also giving guidance on how to keep my hair healthy! Yuki and saeko were gentle and provided great care for my hair/eyelashes. I almost fell asleep with how calm my experience was! The salon itself played the same few songs over and over, I would recommend playing more songs 😁

I walked by a few times and wondering if I should try this salon. I finally did and wanted a new style. YJ was good. I have long hair and wanted to cut it short for the first time in a long time. He suggested what length would be better for me. He is knowledgeable and gives honest opinions. I would definitely recommend him.

I am kinda of a picky client when coming to my hair cut. I did some homework to find the high rated salon to do my hair cut. I am so happy with the result. Sho is a very detail oriented hair dresser, he listend to my needs and ensure he understood the style i was looking for, also it fits me well. Eco is so so amazing it is my first time going to a Japanese hair salon and I was just mind blown at how healthy and pretty my hair looks after Eco cut my hair. She pays attention to your hair and give you great suggestions on how to improve your hair condition for example my hair is super dry however she recommend me I should use hair mask to give a healthy look. She is very gentle with your hair and gives the best cutting you want whether it is a photo you want her to recreate♡ If you want a hairstylist who have great sense of cut on long hair I highly recommend Eco!! I will be back soon !!

When it comes to beauty salons, I believe it's important not only to have skilled hairstylists but also to ensure that clients can have a comfortable time during their visit. Fuko always provides all of that. She's not just an excellent hairstylist with fantastic cutting skills, but also a wonderful listener who sometimes offers advice. And I always almost falling asleep during the shampoo and massage before the haircut by the assistant Mizuki because she's too good at it.

I love visiting Initial Salon, its a lovely salon with exceptional stylist. The salon is always so peasceful, clean & a comfortable place to be. Everyone is so nice there. They are wheelchair accessible, and literally across the street frm the Brighouse skytrain station & across frm Richmond Centre mall. Talk about easy to get to, as well as I'm able to get a visit the mall. Thank you Ken for another gorgeous haircut
