I've been coming to Moods for many years , and have always loved Chad's attention to detail and his ability to bring out the the very best in my hair ! Even after moving to Powell River a few years ago , I still decided to come back to Moods because I have not experienced anyone with as much expertise, knowledge, and at the same time, grace and humility as Chad. The salon itself is so lovely and has a tranquility and sense of peace as soon as you walk in and are greeted at the front desk. I always feel beautiful when I have had a session with Chad and I recommend Moods to everyone!

The best salon I have been to since I moved to Canada. I have been looking for a salon similar to where I used to go to back home in San Francisco and I finally found it. From the ambience, service and talent Salon de Nuvida is top tier. I booked with Sarah and I will definitely be booking with her from now on. She was not only pleasant and friendly but very knowledgeable and honest. She took her time and explained everything she was doing and what would look best for my hair type and face frame. They also gave complimentary tea, coffee or juice and chocolates. Overall amazing experience!

Love this place! I've had the same hairdresser for years but she went on vacation so I tried this salon and had an appointment with Marina for haircut and scalp treatment (so relaxing!). She's so nice and did an excellent job with my haircut. Highly recommended :)

It was good except there is no blow dry with a round brush etc. it is just a drying with a hair dryer and running fingers through the hair. It felt great but looked worse than when I arrived for the appointment. I had to go home to finish before I could head out for the evening. Maybe just me but I would like to feel and look good when I leave a salon.

Hanro is a top hair professional with advanced knowledge about blondes and provides a very good consultation and advice on what looks best on you. He takes care of your hair’s health whilst making it look beautiful in a complimentary way that matches your features. Salon owners are very welcoming and it’s like good for your mind body and soul coming here!! Thank you!

Moods is my preferred hair salon in Yaletown. I would recommend Chad, one of the owners. He is very professional and knowledgeable. If you go there, ask for Chad.

Perfect and professional experience with Hanro, amazing salon environment. Wonderful hair as result and experience throughout, Hanro is a top outstanding professional and artist. You feel happy and in safe hands with Hanro, and have fun in a big spacious salon.

Jun is highly skilled and efficient at haircutting. I highly recommend this salon!

No matter who you go to at this salon, you walk away with exactly what you've asked for. If you ask for a 1/8 of an inch off of five hairs, that is exactly what you'll get. In every other Salon I've gone to, the trouble with going in for a trim is that your hair ends up noticeably shorter. This is the only place I've ever found where your hair ends up being a little healthier looking, a little bit bouncier and more shapely, but not noticeably shorter. I highly recommend.

I never get my hair done, I searched around Yaletown for salon and just happened to walk I got this one. I was greeted with many smiling and welcoming faces. They booked me in right away with a very lovely girl named Joumana. She was kind and understanding of me always cutting my own hair, she took care of the “ mullet “ had given myself. She listened to what I had to say about my hair goals and followed my instructions, Plus gave her option. This salon was clean and affordable. I will return when I am ready for a touch up.
