I cannot recommend this salon enough. Came in today to see Lauren for another hair appointment. Decided to have a little change and Lauren went above and beyond to help me decide the new root colour and what will blend best to create an ombre hair. The colour turned up perfect and had the best experience as always. Thank you so so much !!!

I have been visiting Karen James Salon for many years now. It is a great salon with a friendly atmosphere and the staff are amazing. The salon itself is beautiful and from the second you walk in you feel welcome. Bruce does a fantastic job on my hair. He takes the time to listen to what I want, offers suggestions and I’m never disappointed. Highly recommend

A first-time visit, I travelled nearly an 8 hour round trip to visit this salon. After much research into good hairdressers in Scotland, I was not disappointed. It was a pleasure from start to finish. Great cut and loads of advice. Staff are super friendly. From the time I walked in the door until I left. Obviously, Tom himself has a wealth of experience and is happy to share tips. Personally I was very happy and I do think he is very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back

Great wee salon. Very professional. Lovely cup of tea made for me whilst waiting on granddaughter getting hair done.

First time visiting the salon, loved nicola and her staff, hair cuts were great.

Natasha is a brilliant hairdresser, she listens to what you hope to achieve, she takes her time to understand what it is you're looking for and doesn't go ahead until your both sure what can be achieved with clear expectations. She makes her clients feel welcome and strives to give you what you want. I've been a returning client from she opened her salon and will continue do to be. Great, competitive prices. Once you've been, you'll definitely return.

Chelsea always does an amazing job and gives such great advice. She has great knowledge and takes such pride in her work making sure her clients absolutely love their hair. She is a perfectionist and ensures her clients leave the salon looking and feeling fabulous.

This was my first time visiting 191. Girls are very nice. Made me feel relaxed as I sometimes get anxious going to a new salon. Had a cut and blow dry. My hair is curly so decided to have her dry my hair straight. Was in and out and left loving my hair. Thank you ❤️ xx

As always Maggie makes her clients feel relaxed and comfortable. Her salon has recently undergone refurbishment and is very welcoming. The new massage chair (while hair washing) is an added bonus and adds to the feeling of relaxation. This is all in addition to a fabulous hairdresser who clearly cares about her work and her clients. It was my first time getting my hair styled by Jodie. She blow dried my hair with my extensions in, my hair is extremely thick! Jodie was extremely friendly and very helpful with my consultation, she spend time chatting to me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. I had a wonderful experience at Tom's today, from the moment I went in till the moment I left. Sheila was even nicer in person than she was on the phone with a wonderful welcome into the salon. Tom's expertise on cutting my hair for the shape of my face was amazing and all the tips he gave me for making my hair look thicker was appreciated.
