It’s my first time at The Knott and honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. An amazing haircut, and the best experience. Mary Ann was so kind and chatty and talked me through everything, I’m going back to lighten my hair next week and she made the process so easy and a joy. Couldn’t recommend enough!! If you’re in Folkestone and you need anything doing to your hair, this is the place to go!

Jade is bloody fantastic. I myself, use to be a hairstylist but Jades trade is so amazing she puts my training to shame. Love my hair loads, great atmosphere and an all round lovely lady to be around. Folkestone town is lucky to have such talent on their doorstep.

Sarah is amazing- she took the time to understand my hair and what I am aiming to achieve and worked out (colourwise) how we can get there without damaging my hair. The customer service and the way the team look after clients is great and super professional- something that is rarely seen in other salons in Folkestone.

Love the Knott, everyone is so friendly. I've been having my hair by Lisa since I moved to Folkestone and she never fails to do a great job. Today I decided to change up my natural colour and Lisa has done a beautiful job. Thank you!!!

As a former Redhead in London client, it was lovely to see Sarah in Folkestone. Definitely worth the trip down the M20, new hair and a day out, what’s not to love about that.

I had a great experience. Kerry is amazing and does such a great job. She manages to blend my gray hair with a blond so well and I leave feeling like I look years younger! I highly recommend her and she also did an incredible job for my mother's transformation from dark brunette to her natural silver - a process that took months, but she knew what she was doing and had been recommended by another hairdresser as being an expert on color. Fabulous results! :)

Amazing hairdresser. Nikita was really friendly and welcoming and very skilled. I'm so pleased with my haircut. She listened to my concerns and used her expertise to bring life back into my hair! Lovely atmosphere in the salon too. Even got a delicious salted caramel latte!

As a serial haircut avoider, I hadn’t had my haircut for 2+ years. Upon recommendation, I booked in with Allanah and had the best experience. It was refreshing to be asked about my hair and my normal routine - with a focus on the end result being something that I was not only happy with, but also fit into my day to day. It felt like getting together with a group of friends, and the hour flew by. A relaxed atmosphere, super cute pups included - and I (haircut avoider) booked in ahead in 8 weeks time - that alone deserves a 5star rating. This gem of a salon is bound to become a Folkestone Fave x

Relieved to have found Lisa after a reluctant move from my hairdresser of 4 years following a relocation. Lisa is attentive, patient and really listened. Fantastic colour rectification and lovely cut.

As a longtime Redhed client from London, it was lovely to visit the Folkestone salon which is gorgeous. The team were so welcoming and l was very well looked after, including having a fantastic Kerasilk treatment. Also great to explore Folkestone while l was here.

Nikita has created a space that welcoming and intent on meeting an individual client’s needs. It is all about you, when you enter the salon. The Basement edition allows Nikita to focus, give attention and shows off her skills as a creator, stylist and founder.
