Josh was so amazing! I had thick heavy hair and told him what vision I had in mind and he made it come to life. He took out the weight of my hair and gave nice layers and explained the whole process. He catered the vision to my specific hair type and it’s clear he is very knowledgeable in what he does! He is truly an artist. I cannot recommend him enough!

First time at The Good Part, Josh is very welcoming and has a friendly face. I decided to have all my long hair cut short and he listened to what i wanted and nailed the style i was going for. Highly recommend. The salon itself is beautiful, very modern, fresh and relaxing!

Josh is a great, friendly hairdresser who really listens to what I ask for. He knows how to cut and style curly hair, which is rare in this area of the UK. It’s always a relaxing experience in his beautiful salon and I always come out of it pleased with my hair cut. I highly recommend Josh.

My curly haircut with Josh was an amazing experience. The consultation was paced and thorough, he wouldn’t begin until we were both clear on what I wanted and what could be achieved. I also left feeling educated as his knowledge on natural hair is 10/10! I’ve had curly cuts before at different salons and they’ve never truly nailed it like Josh did. His technique was thorough and careful and he did everything to suit my face shape and style. I feel so grateful to have found him , and he is local! Lovely experience, I had a curly cut and finish with Josh. He took time to explain everything he was doing and why, and gave me lots of great tips on how to care for my curly hair. I find it quite stressful going to salons and having my hair done, but Josh was very relaxed and had the same effect on me. I’ll definitely be back! 🥰
