The salon is very nice and stylish, the staff was super friendly, chatty and welcoming. I was offered refreshments and was very well taken care of. The haircut by Sophie was great, I am more than pleased with it. Came out with healthy feeling hair, looking fabulous and extremely happy! Had my first cut and colour today with the lovely Ruby. Having had long hair for the last 18 months due to a diagnosis of frontal fibrosing alopecia, I felt like I had to have more hair, and not my usual short. After deciding to take the plunge, Ruby listened and we came up with a plan. I can honestly say I feel utterly chuffed with the result. Considering this hair salon is new to me , I will be back to see the lovely Ruby for many years to come. I can't thank you enough.

Lovely morning at Mainstreet hairdressers. Greeted at the door and asked to sanitise which is no problem to me. Hair coloured and cut by the lovely Julie, cup of tea made by Martin (best tea maker! 😁) and hair curled by the student Amber and she was very good, asking questions to Julie all the time shows how willing she is to learn. Ill definitely return, the salon has such a friendly atmosphere and makes for a enjoyable experience.

I have been to different hair salons, and main street hairdressing is the best! I do not trust any other salon with my hair! I went in for a trim, Martin is excellent! I had a great chat and got exactly what I wanted. I’m so pleased with my hair!

Very friendly staff, and I always in a happy mood when I walk out of this salon. I have always gone to this salon for my hair and I have never been disappointed! The lady who cut my fringe, cut it so perfectly, exactly as I wanted it to be, and always asked me before cutting my hair if the length was okay with me! I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic appointment, really enjoyed the bespoke Indian heading massage, only downfall, I would have preferred to have been lying on the bed as sitting in the chair wasn’t as relaxing! But will definitely book again. Lovely place, thank you!

Fabulous hair cut and colour by Julie, with an added bonus of a little consultation with Martin, on the colour moving forward. Julie has the patience of a saint, I know what I mean but can never put it into words, and Julie is amazing helping me to communicate what I want.

Absolutely brilliant, paid close attention to what I wanted. Took extra time making sure my hair dye and cut matched the picture. It was a horrible pink, orange and blonde when I walked in , left feeling like a million pounds!

Lovely shorter style by Julie, left feeling fabulous, great banter from all the staff. Christmas is near so everyone offered a glass of bubbly or a non alcohol bubbly. Scratch cards given out and everyone a winner. Fantastic salon as usual.
