I have had several requests for the name of my awesome , beautiful, inspirational loctitician. Your experience at House of Mpenzi is not just about outter beauty but your inner beauty as well!! Trust the process... your locs may or may not look extremely gorgeous at first- It's a journey. Mine were so thin and not so attractive at first, But I grew so much on the INSIDE through those monthly re-tight visits so it was a positive trade!!! I am so very happy with how my hair turned out. Yvette is meticulous and is absolute a queen of her craft. I have really thick hair and often feel rushed out of hair appointments by the end of them. Not the case with this lovely lady.. she took the time to get the color to the perfect level and styled my hair in a way that I absolutely love. Her care with the cut makes it honestly one of the best (if not the very best) that I've had in my 35 years on this Earth. Thank you so much for your time, effort and great company..I couldn't be happier!

I had the most amazing experience with House of Mpenzi. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by her warm and friendly demeanor. Not only did she expertly correct the damage from my previous loctition, but her positive spirit made the entire experience enjoyable. Her work speaks volumes about her talent and dedication. My locs have never looked better, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The special mix she sprayed at the end was the cherry on top – it's like she knows exactly how to make her clients feel special. Since she completed my locs, I can’t smiling ear to ear.

Yvette is amazing! Her attention to detail and precise cuts has my hair looking better than it maybe ever has. Her blending of my balayage was above and beyond color I've had done by anyone else. She is also very friendly and down to earth, great company if you're getting color or anything else that takes longer than just a haircut! I highly recommend her to any and everyone who wants to step up their hair game. 😊 I got mine done yesterday and still can't stop smiling about it. Yvette is a dang wizard.
