As you walk in the door of Sew Brooklyn you are in for a treat! Well, at least thats what it was like for me. I had read the reviews and did my research for top Hair Salons for black hair in Brooklyn. It was all positive feedback for Sew Brooklyn. Today I am adding mine! This Hair salon is the best by far! Loved the cleanliness, the ornate and luxurious, setting; even my black and white poco-dot apron! I am a regular! From this moment on. Oh, yes, loved my hair! Shampoo, Conditioner, a Rinse to cover my gray, a short, slick, Bob Cut all for a reasonable price! Treat yourselves ladies!

Love this beauty salon, the girls are all amazing at what they do! Customer service is always on top! Alla has amazing, magic hands that always manage to bring my hair back from the dead! My first time visiting the H2 Salon Brooklyn and I had a wonderful experience, everyone was friendly and professional. My stylist JahLena was patient, empathetic, knowledgeable and super sweet. I didn’t feel rushed or judged and she took her time to learn about my hair journey and experiences. I was worried we would have to do a big chop but we were able to do a cute bob cut to allow my hair to grow healthier and fuller. Thank you so much JahLena and H2 Salon. Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

I love pressed studios!!! CeeCee is a doll. The only stylist I’ve been to who’s been very professional and punctual. She’s never been late and she always finished me and my daughters hair early. This was my first time getting my hair cut at R Hair Studio, and I had a great experience! The salon was quiet and peaceful and didn't reek of too much hair spray like some salons do, Rene was kind and professional, giving me advice to cut/style my hair type without pressuring me or trying to up-sell me. Punctual, Knowledgeable and Skillful, Sew Brooklyn is a paragon of upscale, black owned salon service. The location gives very upscale urban, yet intimate boutique vibes. Prices are clear and visible before booking and there is no bait and switch. I came in requesting several different treatments for my hair. My stylists’ first priority was the health of my hair and not the profit they’d make from my requests. They recommended the steam and protein treatment for my hair (natural 4C) in addition the the silk press is initially requested. My style has left me feeling put together and lovely.

Love Self Salon! They have the best hairdressers and staff. It’s always a 5 Star experience there!

Second time getting my hair washed and braided by Imani. Service is always profession and within the allotted time that is quoted. The health of my hair continues to improve as well, Imani is very gentle when handling my hair when detangling and braiding! I’ve had wig installs, with and without closures as well as wash and goes done by CeCe and have loved the styles and services as well so I was happy to see the braid service added to the menu. So happy with this salon!
