I had an excellent experience at the salon. Being a first timer I didn’t know what to expect but Monique made it great. Before getting started Monique and I had a conversation about my hair and my expectation. My expectations were met and Monique gave my hair the TLC it needed. I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. I received so many compliments! My fabulous hair looked just as amazing the next day. THRILLED with the results. Also, Cece was friendly and really listened to what I wanted - then delivered! Amazing salon! I came by recommendation and haven’t had a natural stylist in years and am particular about my hair but Lauren really brought it back to life!!! Everyone was so friendly from the front desk to the shampoo girl. My hair has never felt better! Please come here.

Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

From the moment I walked in the service and customer service was amazing. I felt seen and treated as a valued customer. Shampoo was amazing, detangling was perfect and I am tendered headed she treated me with so much care. I am in awe of this salon. Every part of my experience was delightful. I have intentionally avoided salons for the past few years because of some horrible experiences. I felt like the pain, tension, and breakage wasn’t worth the styles I wanted, and I would always leave feeling dissatisfied. The experience I had today felt healing. The process was seamless, relaxing, and fun!! The stylists are charismatic and incredibly talented. Not to mention the delicious mimosas!! This amazing black owned salon is an experience its self. From the cleanliness to the ambiance and the hospitality! You’re greeted and welcomed by amazing staff and high quality service. I’ve had the pleasure of booking with my hairstylist Cara, twice and Tash Blaque and every time I’m pleased and blown away with the experience I received. Cara is such a pleasant spirit and an even better hairstylist. She’s experienced and loves to make sure her client leaves content and satisfied. I booked the sew in experience and received a wash and set, blow out and styling with my ready installed weave.

Second time getting my hair washed and braided by Imani. Service is always profession and within the allotted time that is quoted. The health of my hair continues to improve as well, Imani is very gentle when handling my hair when detangling and braiding! I’ve had wig installs, with and without closures as well as wash and goes done by CeCe and have loved the styles and services as well so I was happy to see the braid service added to the menu. So happy with this salon!

Tash Blaque truly exceeded my expectations! Erica R. gave me the most stunning twist out and her expertise really shined through. She was warm, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every product and technique, making sure I felt comfortable and confident in maintaining my hair. I left the salon feeling beautiful and empowered, and I couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone seeking personalized and expert natural hair care!

CeCe will get you together. So far I’ve gotten wig installs, a full weave and a wash and go at Pressed and have left the salon smiling each time. My hair is getting healthier with each visit too.

Raven, my stylist, was so attentive to my needs and was a breath of fresh air. She took her time with my hair and I left feeling extremely refreshed. The salon itself is very clean and well ventilated. I will definitely be back.
