I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. In all honesty my hair has never looked or felt better! Whiles on the other hand her attention to detail, skill, and warm coupled with her personality made the entire appointment such a joy. I saw Trish who always does my color. She's great for all hair types, but mine is long, thick, and wavy/curly. She understands how to cut it so I can wear it down and she does a great job with the color too! The salon is a neighborhood gem!

I recently visited Jamal Amal Salon to get my hair braided, and I had such a great experience! Alon was great! I have a hair loss problem where I pull the hair out on the back of my head and I normally get very uncomfortable at the salon / nervous they’ll ask about and he didn’t ask about it which made my day. Will definitely return.

Robert is simply amazing!! Fabulous cut. First time in 25 years I didn’t even have to tell him what to or not to do, like cut my hair with a razor, he is definitely an expert in his field! I had Giuseppe as my stylist, whom I highly recommend. He took the time to understand my needs and offered helpful suggestions that suited me. I can tell that he really cares about his craft by how meticulous and detail oriented he was when during my haircut. He was very professional, and I highly recommend him and this salon.

His team of Sona, Grace, Ella and John are wonderful and provide great client service. And Marina is one of the best manicurists I have ever had. If I didn’t love Kenjiro and Myriam and Grace and the rest of the staff at Toka Salon, I wouldn’t visit for hair cuts, Japanese hair straightening and hair color on a very regular basis for 25 plus years. Extraordinary service, beautiful dry cuts that take an hour and a half because almost each strand is cut separately and Japanese straightening done by total professionals with years of experience. Hair coloring that is natural and leaves hair shiny and looking and feeling healthy. The salon has a great vibe thanks to the great staff and great clients. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Giulia is amazing and a master in her craft. Experience is exceptional. This is a luxury salon- Giulia only takes one client at a time in order to devote herself to you & your hair. Her space is cozy and relaxing. She is welcoming, kind, collaborative, accomodating, honest and an absolute wizard with scissors!! She transformed my fine, flat hair into a full bouncy bob. This is my second visit to her salon & I highly recommend her. Her eye for color and bayalage technique produces beautiful results.
