I had an excellent experience at the salon. Being a first timer I didn’t know what to expect but Monique made it great. Before getting started Monique and I had a conversation about my hair and my expectation. My expectations were met and Monique gave my hair the TLC it needed. I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

Harix is incredible knowledgeable of curly hair and also understands the importance of his clients having a practical routine they can do at home. Very professional. Beautiful salon, and it smells amazing! G made is so comfortable and extremely friendly. On top of all that, she did an amazing job. I most definitely will be making frequent visits whenever I'm in the city and/or need a fresh cut. You did amazing G. This was my first time at the salon. Mino did a great job with my super curly hair! I didn’t know what to expect, so I brought a picture of the cut I wanted. Although he cut it a little shorter than what I wanted I suspect he did so for the health of my hair. Also, it will grow in and probably reach the length I want soon. I’m always skeptical of if a stylist can figure out how to deal with my African hair texture if they have a different hair texture, but he handled it well. My hair felt healthier, more hydrated when he was done.

I am in awe of this salon. Every part of my experience was delightful. I have intentionally avoided salons for the past few years because of some horrible experiences. I felt like the pain, tension, and breakage wasn’t worth the styles I wanted, and I would always leave feeling dissatisfied. The experience I had today felt healing. The process was seamless, relaxing, and fun!! The stylists are charismatic and incredibly talented. Not to mention the delicious mimosas!! It was my first sew in and I don’t think I’ll ever look back. Best hair day ever. My confidence is restored

This amazing black owned salon is an experience its self. From the cleanliness to the ambiance and the hospitality! You’re greeted and welcomed by amazing staff and high quality service. I’ve had the pleasure of booking with my hairstylist Cara, twice and Tash Blaque and every time I’m pleased and blown away with the experience I received. Cara is such a pleasant spirit and an even better hairstylist. She’s experienced and loves to make sure her client leaves content and satisfied. I booked the sew in experience and received a wash and set, blow out and styling with my ready installed weave.

Very professional and clean. Mino was very nice and very polite. He worked fast and precise. After several salon canceling my appointment due to my hair texture, I was finally able to get a good cut.

CeCe will get you together. So far I’ve gotten wig installs, a full weave and a wash and go at Pressed and have left the salon smiling each time. My hair is getting healthier with each visit too.

Tash Blaque truly exceeded my expectations! Erica R. gave me the most stunning twist out and her expertise really shined through. She was warm, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every product and technique, making sure I felt comfortable and confident in maintaining my hair.
