Needed a cut ASAP and was in the chair the following day due to a cancellation. My second time going to Christine for a cut and she again did not disappoint. She takes her time, listens to you when you tell her what you want, she asks questions, and it is obvious that she cares that you leave the salon happy. The shop is hard to see from the road and it is not broadly advertised so if you are googling salons in the area and are in debate, I recommend calling Christine.

Christine and Nixe are so friendly as soon as you walk in they always greet you. They do an amazing job with my hair. I highly recommend this salon to anyone

This was my first service at Christine’s. I highly recommend Nixie . She knows color, knows the unruliness of curly hair and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary products. I had the mini keratin treatment too and Nixie straightened my hair beautifully which that in itself has been difficult for many prior stylists. Definitely recommend this salon.

Christine always gives me such a great haircut. Salon always clean, friendly atmosphere.

As always, Brandy knocks it out of the park with a shaggy mullet look. The products she uses makes my hair not only smell great, but shine and feel light and bouncy.

I've had lots of compliments on my hair. It's been several months since I've been able to have it done. Everyone was so nice in the salon. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Christine ❤️

Jessie did an absolutely amazing and detailed hair cut. She listened to exactly what I wanted and checked in with me to make sure I was happy along the way. The salon is a hidden gem for sure!

Best Hair Salon in Town

Christine, the owner, is very very good with color and cut. Probably the only salon in the Pittsburgh area that still uses Framesi hair color, from Italy . It makes all the difference. lastly, the salonists don’t jump from client to client like other salons. When you get an appointment here, it is your appointment for the entire time. Great Small business, support it.

I’ve been going to Christine’s Hair Salon every 3-4 weeks for several years. Always a great experience. The atmosphere is inviting, friendly and relaxing.

Christine, the owner, took me last minute for a color. My hair has been dreary and flat because I had been using box color to cover a few grays. The hair color they use is Framesi, which I used decades ago and is now hard to find a salon that still uses it. Needless to say, I will go back to Christine’s .I am a return client who made the mistake of trying to save a few dollars on what is important to us older women, …..our hair. She even stayed late for me, which was very nice. If you’re looking for a great salon that won’t make you faint at checkout, this is the place.
