HANDS DOWN the best Sports Massage I’ve ever received in my life. As a dancer and theatre performer/singer, Joseph was extremely knowledgeable and intuitive with what my body needed in an incredibly specific way. He pinpointed the exact issues in every area of my body. It was an extremely intense massage. Because my muscles needed a lot of release and attention, but it was very very very necessary. I’m shouting from the rooftops about how everyone needs to see Joseph!!!

I swear Joseph has magic hands. He fixes problems I ask him to, AND finds and fixes problems I didn’t even know about. He is worth more money than I am able to give. If you have any issues I wouldn’t hesitate at all to visit what may be the best massage therapist in Philadelphia. I could not recommend this man more if you can’t already tell

Always One of the BEST massages I have EVER had! He just keeps getting better and better. Joseph Rathman has such a deep knowledge of anatomy, Physiology & Kinesiology that when combined with his interpersonal skills & strong hands you do not leave the way you came trust me! Be sure to communicate the level of pressure you want as he can erase the most stubborn of knots. I have been seeing him for several years now and, he’s a dream come true when it comes to a true Massage therapist, I can’t recommend him enough! I've had numerous massages elsewhere, but I'm not sure what magic Kyria has in her hands cuz this massage was life changing. I booked a 45 minute massage as a first timer at Spa Hygge just to get on the safe side. By the time Kyria finished my back I wasn't sure what else was left for her to do. When's she end with the double heating pad, I almost slipped into the deepest sleep before a coma. Highly recommend!!!!

Don’t know where or how to begin expressing the inside-out (soul into physical form) warm welcome & deep ease I experienced at Hygge. @ the end of an intensely busy & dynamic work wk, & close of a super cold December day (20 degree range), stepping into a space that’s been intentionally designed, down to the smallest detail to invite delight, peace, & restfulness was only the cherry🍒. THE CAKE 🍰 - the skillfulness of the esthetician who worked for my benefit in prepping my skin for the season ahead, who offered great insights for my concerns. Next time will include brows & massage too!
