As a first time customer it’s always a bit nerve wracking, but Lauren put me at ease and this is honestly the best cut I’ve had in years, she’s done a fantastic job and really listened to what I wanted whilst also making suggestions for what would work best for my face/lifestyle. Highly recommend and will come back again!

Micheal and Lauren understand hair like no other hairdressers I’ve been to around the world, they are individually creative and constantly produce the results I want. I always leave happy after any kind of hair day, from just a blow dry to full head highlights to balayage, I’m lucky to say I’ve got them as two brilliant artists, at my side through every occasion or every time I just need a little pick me up! Also on a side note, they put up with my constant speaking and random thoughts which is a challenge that deserves a reward in itself. Always a pleasure, thanks again Ruchie team!

Always have a great experience at Ruchie and wouldn't go anywhere else. I feel relaxed and comfortable having my hair extensions/colour and it's done to a very high standard as I never have any problems. The thing I really love is just how friendly Michael and Lauren are, they make you feel like friends rather than clients. Have to say, the coffee is 5* too and you can even have a cocktail if you fancy it.

Lauren always does a great job of washing and styling my long extensions and I'm always very happy with the results. This is a great salon, very friendly, relaxing and they do great coffee and other drinks. I can thoroughly recommend.

Michael has worked a miracle today, my hair was dyed blue/green last time, and no matter what I do to it it just wouldn't come out of my hair, we still gave this ago(red with black ends), the bleach worked perfectly and we successfully neutralised the colour, then we slapped on the hair colours, now u can't even tell that I had blue/green hair, and it came put sooooo even too!!!

Lauren did an amazing job with my hair, blending in my balayage beautifully. She was extremely gentle ( even with my challenging curls) and listened to my needs while offering helpful advice. Lauren is a brilliant hairdresser and such a lovely girl. She takes her time to make sure you get what you are hoping for and really puts you at ease. I come out of my appointments feeling fantastic! Super happy with my balayage! Sophie was so considerate of what I wanted and a perfectionist when it came to my colour lifting. You can tell the salon owner really cares about her staff and training doesn't stop when they are at a certain level which you don't get everywhere. Probably the most relaxed salon experience I've had too! Will deffo be back again :)

Hair is perfect! I decided I wanted to change things up and add a little more brown to my balayage but not make it too dark and Michael did it exactly as imagined! To top it off I even got treated to a homemade caramel iced latte and a head massage, so no complaints here!

Jo was very helpful from minute 1. My daughter who is 15 with long hair wanted balayage colouring. this was her 1st salon experience and she loved it. Very happy with end result and had a lovely time. Very good value highly recommended.

I visited gloss hair lounge today and was greeted by Sophie who was very friendly and welcoming. I would like to start by saying thank you for opening up on the weekend just for me and for correcting my bodged balayage in time for my holiday tomorrow. Sophie made me feel at ease from the start of my appointment up until the very end. She is very talented and very knowledgeable no question I asked went unanswered. Sophie has done a fantastic job with my hair today and I couldn’t be more happier with the outcome. I can’t wait to come back in January for my next appointment.

I love my balayage and cut by Sophie. The salon is lovely and were able to use vegan and cruelty free products for me which was great as that can be hard to find in salons! Everyone at the salon was super welcoming and friendly. Sophie is absolutely fab and so skilled! I love my hair! Thank you Sophie :) Indie also did a fab job of curling my hair, thank you! I would highly recommend this salon and will be back in the future.
