I had the most amazing experience with Candyce at Jamal Amal Hair Salon! In which from the moment I walked in, she made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She truly understands hair and took the time to listen to what I wanted, offering expert advice along the way. The end result was beyond my expectations. In all honesty my hair has never looked or felt better! Whiles on the other hand her attention to detail, skill, and warm coupled with her personality made the entire appointment such a joy. First time customer and I can’t express enough how wonderful the experience was. Right off the bat Giulia was honest about what she thought my hair needed and I really appreciated that. We did a single process color with a cut and blow out and - let me tell you- the attention to detail was top notch. Giulia really cares about her clients and their hair and it shows - she made sure the cut was perfect before I walked out. She was so sweet. I have already booked my follow up appointment for a gloss to keep my color looking great. 10/10 would recommend!

Ainur and Michael are really great with the way they do haircuts and color! I got a balayage and it turned out so well! Came back to do a touch up and they did an excellent job. They have a sweet touch/ vision of creating beautiful hair that really suits you and I love it!

Where to begin? I walked in with the worst haircut of my life and walked out with a fresh, balanced, and polished new look. Any one else would have screamed. Giulia was so warm, knowledgeable, and patient. She offered a number of different solutions. Having options always makes a client feel safer and more at ease. BLK had a Terrific experience. I was referred to my prior hair stylists. They both independently referred me to the same person. Jamal, and his assistant, did a great job with my hair. I can tell a person's professionalism by my experience in his environment and surrounding staff as well. Jamal was great and so was his assistant - I literally, did not lose any hair strands. None. Amazing. The hair wash was so relaxing....they worked my scalp well. The environment was wonderful. I am growing my nails back just so that I can be pampered more while getting my hair done by Jamal and his team.

Giulia knocked it out of the park! She took my dry, damaged, long hair and make it look healthy, chic, and modern. She did an excellent job communicating with me as to what she was going to do, how much she was going to cut, etc. which I definitely appreciated since I wanted to remain as much length as possible. You know they’ve done a great job when 10 people tell you “great hair”! Donata made me wonderful highlights and lowlights that completely covered my white hair. Super competent (many many years in Italy with lots of continuous learning) and a very nice person. I had a great time!

From every step of the way from consultation to final recommendations of hair color maintenance to cut… Ainur is such a sweetheart and love how she pulls out the color book to match the desire color of inspiration. My first time going towards a deep cherry coke/ deep wine color and it came out fantastic!
