Fika is amazing!! The owners incredibly gracious and kind and have created a warm, engaging and CoVid friendly environment. I’ve had my hair and extensions coloured and cut, and I’ve had a dip mani, regular mani and full shellac pedicure too - best I’ve ever had!! Can’t recommend them more highly :)

Nat understood exactly what my vision was and provided insight feedback that helped us develop the perfect plan of attack. My husband said this is by far his favorite hairstyle I've had saying "It looks like movie quality hair! It's so Saft and fluffy too!" Which is ironic considering she's worked in the film industry before ;) So if you're looking for movie quality hair, look no further. She's also an absolute treat to talk to! Thanks Nat!!

I booked my colour, lowlights and cut on a whim with Natasha after seeing her hair portfolio, and she did an AMAZING job! I am very picky, as I have unruly, coarse, curly, flat brown and graying, 53YO hair. She listened to what I was hoping for, and delivered exactly that. The colour, specifically, was possibly the best colour I have had in a looooooong time. The salon was bright, clean, aesthetic and delightful, despite its modest exterior and off-the-beaten-path location in Kanata. I live in Hintonburg, but will keep driving to Kanata to this salon.

Makayla did a wonderful job transforming my hair after a previous salon basically destroyed my natural blonde in every way possible. Horrible layering, asked for brown and got ginger, etc. In just two sessions she brought my hair back to a beautiful blonde. So happy to be back to my confident self thanks to Makayla. Makayla did a fantastic job on my foils and haircut! Not only is she super friendly and pleasant, she is also very knowledgeable. Makayla listened to my ideas, offered input, and checked in throughout the appointment to ensure we were on the same page. Always an amazing day when I get to visit the team at Fika! Had my nails done by the fabulous Sophie! She is so creative and just a pleasure and always so lovely. Had my hair done by Grace! Super friendly and does such a wonderful job in my hair. If you have not been to Fika yet my advice to you is to run, don’t walk, to get an appointment for any of you me hair/aesthetic needs. As soon as I walked in, I ADORED the vibe! Everyone made me feel so comfortable, the environment is gorgeous and perfectly girly, and my hairdresser Marieeve was absolutely lovely! She made me feel validated, comfortable, and she was able to easily make recommendations for my hair and gave me the most gorgeous look. I felt very insecure about my hairstyle for many months and she fixed it all up and now I feel incredible in my skin. Kennedy is a master at colour theory, understanding hair textures, extensions and at making sure you leave happy. She nails it every time. I’m so happy I found her!

I've been here twice now, once for hair and once for nails. Both times were a great experience. I normally hate how my hair is styled when I leave a salon (fine hair problems) but I did not have this experience here! I loved my hair when I left and my bangs were just how I wanted them. As for the nails, I got dip with extensions and nail art. There was incredible attention to detail and my nail artist really made my vision come true. The nails are perfect and the design is beautiful.

Had my first consultation with Samantha for hair extensions, booked my first appointment and I am soooo excited to begin my transformation!

My first experience in this new business was absolutely delightful. The ladies have a great energy. Polite and professional, and above all, friendly! You feel like you’ve known them for years. I know they will thrive and do wonderful things! I absolutely encourage everyone to go! I got a dip manicure with extensions and it was exactly what I wanted didn’t have to change a thing. And very comparable to other high end nail / hair salons. This is now my go to nail place and worth the commute from Gatineau!
