Such a rejuvenating experience! Courtney was so incredibly thorough and attentive, and I also really appreciated her personalized advice on hair care and suggested natural products. Her Arurvedic treatment already made such a big difference with my hair feeling fuller, softer, and healthier. Truly the best head spa experience I've had (and I've been to a couple others). Came with my daughter for the Group of 2 people 60 Mins GET Away (Basic Scalp Care + Facial Massage) for our birthdays. Oh my god, we're going to have to make this treatment a regular thing. We came out feeling super relaxed and refreshed. The massages of the hair, face, chest and shoulders included in this package were absolutely perfect. I think the only suggestion I would have is to have styling products available for curly hair. We should probably have brought our own though. Cannot wait to come back.

Overall, I was satisfied with Apple’s haircut skills and her expertise on how to style my frizzy curly hair! As for the additional service: Kerastase Fusio-dose treatment recommended by her assistant was my first experience with this French brand, however, it won’t last for 45mins lol, hope that I would enjoy the full 45mins next time. This hair salon is a “gem” for South Bay community!!!

This was so relaxing and spa like. I wasn't sure what to expect but I felt very well taken care of and comfortable. I had the 60min scalp treatment and now my scalp and hair both feel clean and wide awake! The person who took care of me (I heard "Kelly" but that might not be right) was very attentive and gentle and skilled.

I took my sister and my mom for their Christmas present for a spa day at Velvet and we had an amazing time! We’ve never had this experience before and it exceeded my expectations! Everything from the staff to the treatments were so pleasant, I would definitely visit again! I booked a Kerastase Fusio-Dose Treatment and a women’s haircut. The hair and scalp treatment was fantastic—my hair felt incredibly smooth and soft afterward. For the haircut, Dylan worked wonders. I went for a butterfly cut with curtain bangs to chin length, and even without a reference photo, Dylan nailed it. The layers and cut were exactly what I was hoping for. I’m thrilled to have finally found a place with excellent service and an outstanding stylist. I highly recommend Dylan!

Had a color and a Tokio Inkarami hair treatment with Zoe, I love the color she created and even without bleach the color is really clean and saturated. The hair treatment gives me a soften texture with shine, worth the price!

I had a great first time experience. I had the 25 mins shoulder, neck, and back massage and head shampooed.The treatment was very refreshing but felt cold at times. Wish the room would be more heated. The stuff were very friendly.They even blowed dry my hair with Dyson. My hair felt lighter and cleaner too. I did sure go back to them!

Dylan was amazing - he’s great at his craftsmanship. Got a beautiful layered cut. Customer service could be better trained though - I made appt with someone else for cut and keratasse treatment, confirmed the time the morning of, receptionist suggested to have olaplex treatment instead on the phone. Due to the original dresser still busy, my hair was washed and treated by someone else while Dylan was asked to cut the hair instead. The whole handoff could have been handled better.

Very relaxing experience at Velvet head spa! You start off with a scalp consultation and they give you tips on how to better care for your hair. Then i got a facial and hair treatment. it was so peaceful and relaxing. They finish with a blow dry. The spa itself was very clean and smelt soooo nice! Will definitely be coming back!

I went for the Royal Serenity Scalp Treatment Package and it was great. Honestly, the best part was the back massage (which you start with) 10/10. She deep cleaned and masked my hair/head - it was so relaxed and clean when I left. Tips: +The room is nice and cool, so wear socks if you get cold feet like I do. +If you wear contacts, make sure to bring something so you can take them out during the treatment. +If you have any skin concerns or sensitivities, make sure you articulate them at the very beginning, once you start, you'll be so relaxed you might forget to bring them up!

I came here on a Saturday with my mom to get two head spa treatments for both of us. My mom got the Ayurvedic Shiro-lepa treatment and I got the 60 Min Serenity Scalp Treatment/ Head Acupressure. The experience was really relaxing and our hair came out so shiny, smooth, and soft! Prior to the treatment, both our scalps had build up. After treatment, our scalps were refreshed and clean.
